Sometimes I am right about stuff and most of the time hilariously wrong. Right: I predicted that AA would be a baller hero for some time because according to IceFrog's normal method of introducing a hero AA was in his ' imba ' buffed stage. After he got his first nerf he would become a shitty hero. Heen didn't agree with me ;( I cried about dying to his ult a lot ;( Wrong: I predicted slark would be an unstoppable melee carry used by hard farmers because of his regen. Rabid's arguments were basically right and he was never used vs a tri-lane. Although! He did get nerfed recently just like every new hero IceFrog releases and it included the strengths I listed getting nerfed. Wrong: Pick/ban advice to Heen's team lol. Wrong: Void's chronosphere buffs and aghanims will make him be used more. Good players who excel at placing chrono will completely take over a game. Untested: Spirit breaker gets used competitively....I'm so sad he got changed without anyone being able to use him with treads>jango>armlet>manta>aghanims>cuirass build. | ||

Void got buffed more since then. I think he's actually viable now (600 range, 4 second chronosphere at level 1!!) but I think before that the game has to pan out with the all the changes 6.72 brought on first. I still think AA and Weaver are too strong, nerf those fucking ice orbs and ultimate and nerf the bug attack interactions. Invoker's still too good but only slight tweaks on the effectiveness of the AoEs he can do is the proper thing to do. Slark didn't really get nerfed in my opinion, Leaps a lot easier to get on people now and I think the stat rework is much more advantageous so he won't get bursted down as easily. The nerfs aren't actually that big of a hit if you consider what he gets in return, since with essence shift the nicest thing is that you aren't getting agility it's that everytime you hit somebody they lose stats, so stat steal on the primary is the biggest nerf. | ||

Hehe.. had a limited vision of what AA would be like in competitive play  it's fun to use heroes that you deem imba only to be confirmed by the global dota community a few months later. I remember we used invoker in some of our ADC games, mostly losses, and ppl were saying we were just trying random shit because we stood no chance vs nirv.my was a pretty solid lineup for the time: spec/veno/wd/invoker/clockwerk | ||

Do ppl use macros to instapick heroes before the screen loads? srsly... I probably have to wait 2-3 days before I can even put my mouse over his icon. | ||

Also, Magus is gay, all kinds of gay, you have a targeted never-miss ranged Toss with little risk to the Magus, a Spell Steal that can equal 2 more spells and a nuke that is an AoE nuking Cripple. | ||
