I got the MadCatz fightpad, the D-pad felt nice, I just wish the 6 button schema were switch to Playstation style. PSN TheEvilTree Add me yalls! I'm about to give up on ranked matches with sagat. Vast majority of my wins end in mysteriously losing the connection with the other player. Only way to consistently get points is to win first round, build meter during second and lose, trading life evenly until 35-40%ish and then going for an ultra combo to win before they can pull. Unfortunately, some who realize they're about to die get that cord unplugged in time, and I die just a little more inside  Seriously though, add me for some Sagat / Ryu / Rufus matches (or Bison / Balrog / Abel if my roommate is playing, Chun Li if gf is playing)  | ||

Personally my thoughts on ranking are that it is ok but needs some changes, I'd like in no particular order.. 1 - The matchmaking to not suck, its really bad when you lose a game and then spend 5-10 tries going through "search for game" to get another game and are just frustrated and sitting there waiting. 2 - Why make the settings variable? Choose a standard for ranking. Make it all BO5 imo, BO3 would be fine but i mean the point is really why have the option for 1 round or different amounts of time at all. Its like having all the other speeds in BW, no one uses them except fags 3 - The disconnect shit. Ive played probably around 350 ranked matches. I never had ANY disconnects until I got really high up the ranking and even then it seemed seldom. I think I probably had 3 disconnects in my first 250 games. But since then, basically over the last week I get a disc about 1/4 wins. I usually don't play the people who do it again, sometimes they will not disc if the match is close and they don't feel cheated I guess but basically it has really ruined the experience for me. I know first hand that a lot of the people from 100-50th place are not that good and ive beat them several times and they disc. It just kinda reminds me of the Starcraft ladder back when it was shit and totally unusable after the first few years of the game being out but people still played it. They could also look at the bp system and set it up so the range is a little wider or it makes more sense, its a little too ELO for me right now especially for an online ladder with lag(ie, penalty for losing under questionable level of consistency is a little too harsh. Very hard to play a reactionary char like Ryu vs someone like Blanka or Honda, etc). I don't like that i play decent 3000bp players and get 15 points then lose to someone 200 points above me and lose 80?? It just makes points where you loop around for like 15 games until you get on a REALLY good streak. Something like the WC3 ladder system might be a little better, starts out you cant stop gaining points and then around the time you get in the "ranked(ie top 1000)" section you need to have more wins than losses to keep going up. | ||

its rly frustrating espacially since i want to make at least top 100 BP wise no one rly quits alot until at least the 3.5kBP range and up. all those points get serious lol i espacially hate when i lose a close match or lose becuase of a mistake i made and have to wait to find a match while im still fuming over the previous loss anyway im at 4706 BP edit: plus im not sayign people alrdy have hacks or soemthing but theres this 1 guy whos top 3 and i remember playign him when we were both like 3KBP's. i remember raping the shit outta him and a week later hes at over 10K BP....... u dont get that good in a week | ||
