You CAN pre-order SE and even TEs which are expected to have another shipment in late March / April. There are no PS2 --> 360 Converters since MS has a stranglehold on their controllers. Word on the street is that there are lagless PS2 / PS3 / 360 converters that have been patented, but both Sony and MS have rejected their application. I keep hating on this game... ... but I keep playing it. I wanna play Viper but it is so confusing even if C.HP xx Cancel - C.HP is sexy. XFPS 360. I have one, it's great. I never use my 360 controller for anything, the PS2 controller is so much more comfortable. I've debated buying a PS2 stick and hooking that up to the adapter but even the PS2 sticks appear to be pretty expensive still. Any that someone could recommend that's less than $100 and still decent (preferably not the SF anniversary stick since I heard it's ass and preferably one with a lollipop)? Be careful with the whole ps2 -> ps3 adapter thing. Unless it's a very specific adapter (Pelican, InPin, and I think maybe a couple other good kinds... there's a thread for it on srk), it will not work properly. I use an ps2 -> usb adapter for GGPO and while I got it working fine for ggpo (had to mess with the usb polling rate so it would read inputs accurately, but that's another story), I couldn't even do fireballs on HDRemix for PS3. It may not be a huge problem if you don't do your inputs really quickly, but I noticed if I do them quickly at all with a regular radioshack adapter, it simply wouldnt register everything :{ Edit: found the thread! http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=132493 Just bought 2 Hori Tekken Tenth Anniversary sticks from a coworker for $25 woop woop.

Just mix up your balls for free chip and meter. Slide vs some chars. Cross up mk and mash jab. EX thru projectiles. Solid air to air attacks and really high/fast jump. He is fast and if anyone ever tries to cross you up mash jab. Throw out ultra in emergency situations or to chip ftw.

If you're going to replace the parts (which you will almost definitely have to within a week or two), then you'd might as well buy the TE because it will cost you almost the same amount, but the TE is heavier and has other nice features that the SE doesn't (e.g. turbos, and a compartment to store the cable). The SE washer is a known issue and will most likely not surface on the next manufacturing run. Weight is a subjective issue. I actually do prefer the TE weight though. And lastly, you can customize your SE when you mod it, so maybe you want a Seimitsu instead of a Sanwa, or you want different colors or something. I did a really basic calculation and with a Sanwa stick and Seimitsu skeleton buttons it's about $20 cheaper than a TE after shipping, no tax. I'm actually onboard to buy an SE since I have some Sanwas sitting around. =)

I've heard that you do lose BP for discing, but probably not as much as you'd lose if you actually lost the match.

People always seem to want to block/attack after that SPD. Scooter combo (tm): SPD, lp Pimp Slap, 720.
