a tough challenge for both Zerospace and Stormgate is that the encumbants , SC2. AoE2, and CoH2 can all run on potatoes.
Stormgate is going to require a half way decent machine.

Totally agree. I think they need to saturate the colors more to show a greater, more bold, contrast between teal/gray and purple/gray, and then also get rid of the neutral secondary colors for each unit. Less gray for each unit, and more purple (or teal).

The catapult thing seemed interesting. Might be the first time I said that about Stormgate.
The showmatch was probably the best Stormgate gameplay I have seen so far. With a bit more visual clarity it could be decent.

A separate thread handles the network/RTS activity; I think its called `snowplay`. UE5 uses multiple threads already. https://forums.unrealengine.com/t/multithreading-and-performance-in-unreal/1216417 The CPU can't be a potato.

I think Artosis and Tasteless are doing a pretty solid job of casting the games (I'm able to follow most of the time, despite not having the Stormgate vocabulary down yet and despite the desaturated colors). I also think that Monk is doing a good job of explaining aspects of Stormgate during the interviews.

Moon's fiend attack on that ?shrine? to target down the main building was pretty awesome.
Edit: It was actually Mana, not Moon. They messed up the names/colors in game one.

I think the models look reasonably distinct up close, but at a distance less so, I don’t think them all being similarly sized, or a lot of them, really helps either. But that would be an easy tweak
I have only caught snippets so will re-watch, looks promising. A lot of gaps in visual clarity will be mitigated when more of us get to try the game out too.
Elongated engagements, something I’ve longed for in lieu of ‘terrible terrible damage’, nice to see

Moon called GG despite winning the whole first game?
EDIT: Mana was the one in complete control, and who won that game. They miscolored the two players. Mana wrecked Moon in game one, not the other way around lol.
