There are not microtransactions. You can earn in game currency to get more units and change your deck. the only way u can earn currency is by playing games. playing campaign. co-op .custom vs AI . or ladder. There are also boost goals that grant you more currency.

So BlackBird Interactive missed their promised release date. Considering this title is in Early Access it is prudent to examine BlackBird Interactive/BBI's track record along with the conditions under which this game is being developed. The publisher, Prime Matter, released 3 games in a week. This could be some grand amazing marketing strat... or it could mean they are running out of money and gave every development team a drop dead date to begin bringing in revenue. BBI committed to Gearbox Publishing a late 2022 release of Homeworld 3. BBI made some pretty good RTS stuff the last few years under Gearbox Publishing. However, their release date reliability has been super wonky. Randy Pitchford at a public promo event for a BBI Homeworld game lamented " I have no idea how we are going to make any money on this". Be careful giving BBI your money during an Early Access period.

the game 1v1 is fun. There is a lot of proxying going on on the ladder and not many people are actually playing, like 40 or so according to streamcharts. I havent noticed to many bugs. You cannot click a unit well enough, which sucks. Its better to box it. Balancewise its probably not ready yet, but I dont know, I just started playing. The singleplayer is ok, a bit too many cutscenes and too little actually macro and expanding. I only played the first Act. Now the second act is also ready to play. there is a arcade game like desert strike and others that i havent played yet. they just released a new patch and added the second act and listend to the gamers. There was ingamecurrency that people didnt like, so they cut it out.

Removed ingame store The presence of the store caused players to worry about the introduction of game-related microtransactions in the future and pay-to-win in general. While it was never intended to tie units and game-related items to hard currency – only soft currency tied to player progression – we find that the way this was presented was quite confusing. We also took note of and incorporated feedback from players who tied units and/or commanders to player progression. All current and future units will always be immediately available to all players No need to unlock game-related items – ever Operations will be removed as a result of the above actions and replaced with a new progression system at a later date DLCs are planned for the future https://game-news24.com/2022/06/30/crossfire-legion-information-is-important-updates/

https://www.reddit.com/r/CrossfireLegion/comments/vnnk5k/optimal_mining/ I checked out the game mode "cooperative". its a defend the main 3vs ai mode with constant waved of enemies. Which I played only with one guy (because nobody is playing atm) and we didnt make it... eonzerg is in the top 10 of europe. number one is a guy called ftwcheese. pillow_8 is number one on america now, I had the pleasure to play against him (and lost ofc). he went supply depo scout. then he saw my rax at home (so no cheese) and then he took his expo before rax. there is a build where you build your rax at home and then cancel it, if there is no cheese coming. then you expo. because when you cancel a rax you get 200 materials back (it costs 200 materials).
