Whew found the last missing oculus I needed for lvl 10 Statue. Can relax a bit and go back to maint mode lol. Just casual last bit of exploration here and there for the last couple levels of tree.
Have almost 900 books and 8 mil mora. Besides Raiden who is prio I think I want one of the GOAT Ameno supports. Originally I would have said Venti but it seems like Kazuha is the new cool kids ameno go to.
Dang, this limited time, event Abyss Domain that looks like a dungeon crawler is pretty fun, wish this was a part of the main game, not just an event. I'd do this over abyss floors any days of the week, every month (if it changed and updated every month, that is).
The fights themselves are standard fare. I have no particular problem with them, though I think they're on the easy side. Heck, I only did dire fights the entire time. Based on what I've seen elsewhere, others disagree and think it's hard. Clearly it depends on how well constructed your account is. The boss fights are not noteworthy in any way.
The buffs are strong, but ultimately meaningless if you kill a room in one rotation anyways. Attaching buffs to destructibles is weird, but whatever. Not sure why they did it considering those things are everywhere and the buff is permanent. Why is there even a charm to increase the number of destructibles? Explosive barrels are mostly a hindrance unless you get that one charm that makes them friendly. They also don't affect destructibles, which just makes the whole thing seem kinda scuffed. I haven't used a single shikifuda because there is simply no need to. The charm leveling system is mostly pointless, given the above. The most impactful gameplay element is curses, and those are largely mitigated with party swap.
The corridors are a waste of time. There is nothing in them that is actually engaging. You get the occasional trap that is more annoying than anything else. Scrounging for damaged shikigami is pure busywork and not very fun. Traversal in general is boring.
Curative rooms are largely useless. There is no situation where you are reliant on such a room, as you are incentivized to bring healers (Bennett/XQ being strong as ever) due to the nature of the dungeon. The challenges that require you to not use them just make them more pointless.
IMO, their arena battle type events are more fun.
Edit: Regarding Venti, he's no longer king because of recent enemy design, but when enemies are pullable, he literally invalidates that content. He is unmatched in his niche, even when compared to Kazuha. Also there's still Morgana and stuff. I'd agree that Kazuha is better in general usage though. Man's a walking goblet with double VV potential.
I had Albedo already, so no need to roll. Probably skipping Eula as well, although she'd make a good partner for Raiden. Itto I'll see what the consensus is once he and Goro come out. All geo team should be storng with Itto + Gorou + Alfredo + maybe Zhongli or Ningguang.
But ATM am saving for Kazuha / Ayaka or Ganyu rerun (would really like Ganyu C1)

yall roll for albedo? or saving for itto/shenhe
Kokomi is fine. The new set pretty much gives a +30% dps which is a substantial dps increase in the few comps that have dps Kokomi.
Did 30 rolls since I have a C0 Bennet and C0 Rosario and C5 Noelle. Got Albedo at the 30th roll. I don't have a use for Albedo, and I would rather had 30 rolls contributing to another 5* but I count it as an overall win. Chose Albedo over Eula banner since getting Albedo would give a use for Cinnabar Spindle, even if I never use Albedo in abyss.
Shenhe visual design looks interesting, but is competing for Yae and possible Raiden rerun. I have to think, do I really want another 5* Cryo? There isn't even any space for another cryo on my teams even if I made 2 freeze teams.
Yae will either make or break Raiden for me. She better be a competent DPS like the rumours suggest, that can utilize Raiden's battery well. Otherwise... getting Raiden to C2 would be so costly and painful to make her work.
What do you mean? Raiden is already works at C0 as she produces significant amounts of damage during her burst mode. Raiden national is currently on of the top teams. She only does poorly at C0 in terms of damage if you are attacking her out of burst mode and that's when you need a Sara and Bennett comp.
i finally pulled mona after a year of playing in the same 10-pull as albedo so im glad id been going for that leyline achievement lmao 11MM --> 6MM in a couple days and still not finished
I still think it's a waste of time and resources, considering I'm constantly sitting at 1100-1200 books and 8mil+ mora. I could spend a lot of it if I leveled more characters to 90, but that also feels pointless.
The more I see of Shenhe, the more I dislike her design.
I got bored of farming domains for a rare chance at an incremental upgrade in artifacts, so I spent a few? months just doing the rounds on those leylines. Gave me a lot of Inazuma mats (from the samurai and golems). Have to admit when I hit 600 it became a drag because you have to do so many runs in a day (20 resin at a time) and a lot of the Inazuma leyline spawns have mobs right next to them.
As said before, I was momentarily interested in Ittou but him being a primary DPS and also having that voice was a let-down. Shenhe doesn't intrigue me so I'll be waiting a while. Coolbeans.
Mostly excited that they've seemingly indeed ramped up area/region development times (though we'll see when Smell actually ends up coming). I wasn't expecting another Inazuma area so hearing there's another block coming is like reeeeally now, cool.
