Is there a list of players for the KoF tournament? Did any Mexicans or Chinese go? XD I wish they could've had 2k2 instead of 98 though, even though 98 is pretty badass as well.
Edit #2: Looks like most of the foreign teams are getting fucked 1st round: Team Australia draws MOV/KO/Boss 1st round Team US East draws Tokido/Joe/Nitto 1st round Team Europe draws Mester/Match/Raoh

I read the readme and the emulator.ini but I'm still not sure. It's probably something to do with the directories as I'm confused by the instructions so likely haven't implemented them properly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Np dude, It took me literally 25 minutes to figure it out.
What you gotta do is DL the sfii3.zip make a 'rom' directory folder inside the cps3 folder (i think that, that folder has to be in C:\ as well. The .ini file will explain perfectly) then the .bin file that I posted on page 1 and put that INSIDE the zip. the change the text in the .ini file to load that zip. should be something like Dir1=c:/cps3/roms/sfii3.zip
make sure you load the right sfiii3 game in the emulator as well.
And there you have it.
PS- Welcome to posting mr. forumlurker
So basically when it says your missing the bin file, it means you have to set it up first. (unless you really are missing your bin file)
Go to the configuration file in the nebula folder. Change line ;Dir1=c:/cps3/roms to Dir1=c:/cps3/roms (just remove the semicolon). Make the folder c:/cps3/roms and put your sf3 rom in that folder.
He gets faster, a LOT. Endless juggles <3 (think of it as Daigo playing and juggling with Sol Badguy in GG).
Oh and btw, I got this to work, finally. This is one of the best, fastest-paced and also clean 2D fighters I've ever played..gonna get some learning . The annoying this is that you can't pause in that Nebula emulator (or I didnt' figure it out yet), but I can live with that.
pls tell me about the third strike's system what are the properties of blue and red parry? what can you do with the bar at the bottom of screen? only supers? what do mean the different levels? is there throw break?

When Yun activate his Genei Jin super, Yun can chain all his normal attack (button attacks) into another. While the super meter bar slowly drains, he can keep juggling his opponent in the air. It's similar, but not quite exact, to Custom Combos (cc) in previous Street Fighter games.
If there had to be a comparison, Yun's super is like Street Fighter Alpha 2 where you can keep canceling out your normal attacks. Yang's super is like Street Fighter Alpha 3 where your shadow also hit.
Yun's Genei Jin super is deadly because
1. fast charging super 2. can be use outside of combos 3. combos do a lot of damage! 4. free damage when combine with his special grab
and it says that the streams will be online from 9:30am to 8pm local time. The max capacity for users is 2000 connections.
wow Virtua FIghter was won by a team that got through the same-day qualification.
of the 6 qualified foreign teams, it looks like US west has the easiest draw. But event then they're against a team lead by Juunin, so it'll be tough >_<.
------ SFII · Team US West (Wolfe Brothers) draw Otochun/Komoda · Team US East (Nestor/Mopreme) draw Makki7/Gunze · D/Aniken draw Muteki/Chamu
okay, US west and D/Aniken look fucked if their opponenets are in-shape. I don't know about US East's opponents though.
just wanted to add another video, the last round is awesome.
that last round is OMFG
i had barely played 3rd strike at the arcades, but i loved this videos. Don't know all the moves but sure it's entertaining to watch. What i notice is that i usually don't watch both players, but rather focus on the one i happen to root for. And almost always is against chun li and yun (or yang, dunno) beacuse they seem to be the most popular (like terrans ¬¬).
they're technically already up, togeki site says streams start at 9:30, and the dude just says the event starts from 10am
edit: Lupin Kojima (Famitsu staff) is interviewing KOF98 players, first Kyabetsu, now Kyokugendou. Haha he asks them for their feelings for the matches, then asks "who are you taking note of among the players?" and asks the player to go get that player hahaha.
Apparently 2 players from Taiwan
Kyabetsu -> Kyokugendou -> Ryan -> Umibouzu
Hahaha wtf?
[Umibouzu]: Well the Chinese players are too strong and it's like there's no use, but I'll do my best.
edit2: Hahaha, one of the favorites, Ohgosho came late and just came running in.
