The original Dx was ugly for example. + Show Spoiler + Zoom in and look at the left lololol Oh geez lol :D I wonder how hard that is going to bite them in the ass once people start noticing. I'm (sadly) pretty sure that DX3 won't live up to the first game. Not because of the lack of skills, autoheal or whatever, but because the first game had so damn much on the side. Like newspapers, books, e-mail and data about completely unrelated things. That kind of thing really makes a game world seem more alive, and I think DX2 lacked a bit in that department, as will most likely DX3.

Also in the trailer, what do they mean in the end "You will never find him! " "I will never stop looking" Who are they looking for? :>

Dx is all about a solo gaming, immersion and story. I haven't tried the solo in the first game but i don't think it was really good.

Anyways, without going into much details - trailer was great. Promising and impressive. I've never played first DX (played System Shock 2) and skipped second because there was nothing of interest for me, it had bad reviews and my pc was kinda lacking to even play it.

They wanna make the SP experiance at least to a level like original Deus Ex. I hope they suceed. And that question who or what he is looking for I think that it doesn't have an answer (atleast not until you try the game) just to spark interest P.S. Previous (both) DX had multiplayer

The trailer is great and some of the hands-on-reviews I've read so far also speak of an impressive game, but they still have their doubts whether it'll be better than Deus Ex 1. What I personally don't like so far is this: - 2027? Come on. Ok, 205x from the first game also was very unrealistic. Generally needs to be farther into the future. - The graphics are impressive, but look somehow anime style, which isn't quite my thing, but as long as it works in-game I'll be OK with it I guess - They say gameplay is more streamlined, but still true to Deus Ex roots. But "streamlined" usually means worse, unless they just streamlined the interface/controls, which is usually a good thing - It's a prequel to Deus Ex 1, which means technology won't be as advanced as in DX1 (no nanotech), which could mean that abilities are less original or diverse

I really like that one. I'm really pumped but i'm pretty sure it will be a major let down and dumbed down like Bioshock

Bioshock was great! I really do think it was a worthy "spiritual successor" to the System Shock series.

[url blocked] Looks great except for those stupid "take downs" and third person ... It is Deus Ex not Mortal Combat ffs... no need for cool moves and fatalities... First person view please.

Ive read the reviews from various sites on the private E3 gameplay session - and they were unanimously blown away by it. So yeah, looking up to be a great title. Edit: The gameplay vid was filmed with such a shitty camera it was hard to do it justice..but yea I'll remain optimistic beacuse ive read allot of good about it.

Looks very Deux 1 ish minus the 3rd person stuff. I really like the big environments and interactive NPCS. The Hive looks a lot like the Lucky Money.

That guy that makes all of those correct tech predictions (I'm sorry that comment is sooo vague ) says we'll be there by 2040.

The game looks great, if it plays out like how most of us have in our minds with an deep and believable atmosphere that doesn't show its cracks when the game play and/or plot breaks down. The problem is that it rarely happens, Bioshock had this problem as soon as you realized that a Wrench was all you needed. Fallout 3 and Morrowind did a good job in this department. And Nanotech isn't going to arrive by 2040 short of a major breakthrough. I can list a bunch of reasons why, but funding focus is the primary "problem".
