I did all the shrines and most of the side quests (this was before DLC) and while getting to Ganon was a challenge the boss fight itself was a bit of a letdown. Pretty sure I got him on my first attempt. Seemed like he was tuned for players who would rush him after getting the Master Sword. To be fair, the final boss in Zelda is almost always a letdown. I really can't think of a Zelda game where the final boss was truly difficult enough for me to consider it worthy of being "final boss" material.

I never fought Majora without the FD mask. is it somewhat challenging without it?

And I’ve been farming Lynels like crazy to just stock up on shock/fire arrows. Also I have my Hylian set fully upgraded. And my Guardian and Barbarian set just 1 more level apiece to max upgrade. I’m 100% sure I’ll have all useful sets max upgraded before I decide to visit Ganon.

Since the double up firing their lasers and giving you abilities that can trivialize a lot of the encounter. I definitely had more trouble with Lynels outside of when they AI right and you can almost one shot them with a 2 hander power attack.

Though I picked H'aanit and got to a point where the tutorial suggested I meet up with the other 7 dudes, how can I play their intro chapters though? I guess I just continue H'aanit and it'll be obvious at some point.

Personally I'm working on the 2nd Chapters of the characters, but man is the grind real. Might just be the zone I am in, but have honestly been thinking of just putting the game down. Only thing that is somewhat keeping me invested atm is seeing how the job situation evolves (I started with Tessa and am about to unlock the last Merchant ability).

I’m not even a Zelda fan. Only Zelda I’ve played before this was windwaker and I didn’t even like it that much. But botw is just on another level. The colors, the music, the EVERYTHING

I picked up my 3rd character and I was travelling to the 4th area when I met a party of 4 mobs. 4 standard trash mobs, easy to beat. For some reason they granted 3.4k gold and 1.1k xp… my Alfyn literally went from lvl 8 to lvl 14 in this one easy fight and I have no clue why. Oh well ![]() e: For reference, all other mob packs in the area are yielding ~20 xp lol, no clue why I randomly got 1100. I did manage to get Untouchable and Break bonuses but still.
