CSGO itself is not a big game at all there tho, probably because of the pricetag and the fact that it is harder to play it in internet cafes/pc bangs. As such their talent pool is not deep at all and they probably won't achieve much internationally. I'm afraid its gonna need more effort from valve to popularise csgo in asia, especially regarding the business model.

Overall, they don't seem to be at a top international level in terms of individual skill, but they are quite solid and consitent players. From what I have seen: Games between asian teams are a lot more strat heavy than european and american games. Seriously, it's quite rare for me to see them play and stream a game, but I never watched a game without learning anything new. It's like they are playing a completely different game compared to EU/NA. I would love to see them compete against international teams.

I think you undervalue the amount of strategy and meta mind games in EU scene , if what you say is true then CN will be better then EU soon enough, aimers are born in CN every second ![]()
