And still enjoy the game. Would prefer a more guerrilla approach, where you can pick from tons of targets, but it ups the security of a region etc. Dislike feeling as if i have to win every mission, which i get in xcom2 for some reason.

Endgame is a bit crummy indeed, but there are a lot of different ways to go, so experimenting with different builds and compositions makes the game a lot of fun on consecutive runs as well. I probably will stop after I get my dream comp, tho.

I finished my I/C run, went for completion, so didn't do the final until I had whole earth done and everything else as well. Had 4 maxed psi-ops, 2 aliens got to make a turn in the final battle and obviously both of them attacked a mimic beacon.

Has that happened to anyone else. I've had enemies try to melee attack the same space where my mimic beacon disappeared for like 3 turns straight after it disappeared. I also had sectoids and keepers both ressurect zombies from mimic beacons so...

That last mission was so INTENSE, my heart was beating like a mad man, because I literally thought I was going to lose right at the final room because of how rediculous it got.

but what is worse is when there are berserkers/Faceless on the prowl and they get on the tile next to your unit but then have used up all their movement points so they can no longer attack. Makes me scared everytime.

I was a little disappointed with the second to last mission though. Was fun, but no where near the level of the final mission. Anyways, though, how about that DLC? I'm not disappointed or angry at all because I knew what to expect. With the amount of customization you can already do, there was no way they weren't going to add in some more options. Which is why I can't help but facepalm at people who are complaining about it when EU did nothing different except offer much much less with its cosmetic DLC. In EU, the elite soldier pack which added a small amount of new customization options for 4.99$, eh why not. In Xcom 2, over 100 new customization options for 4.99$? HELL YES! Sign me up!! Theres literally no contest here.

I also think a huge contributing factor of why my heart was beating so fast was because I literally had absolutely no idea what to expect. After fighting in the final room for so long, I kill one avatar, another joins the fight with a few more aliens, and I haven't even finished mopping up the previous 2 warp ins of aliens, 1 turn later, the final avatar joins the fight with berserkers and mutons. After getting close to killing 1 of the last 2 avatar, even more shit gets warped in. I legit thought I was going to lose because there was so many aliens in the room. Anyhow, the first confirmed DLC for the game will be a cosmetic one. However, from the screenshots I have seen they have really high quality

That is true, but some of those customization mods take up alot more space then it actually should. Not all customization mods are of professional quality, save for a few like Capnbub's.

Still 180 hours, so the game has been worth it, and it will continue to be in the future for sure.

Working my way through a normal Legendary run with just a few mods. (Swords/Sniper Rifles with armor pierce being the only combat mod.) It's been fun. Not as much save-scumming as I've certain strengths come online. I've also gotten some much better Map spawns as I've gone through, my early Retaliation mission maps were just brutal, even with Mag weapons.
