In witcher, basically a session of play if that you want to do something, but on the way you're distracted by some interesting stuff, and while doing those you find something very intriguing, and this continue non stop till the end, the game is very dense. If have not played a lot of fo4 yet, but how to say it...it looks generic. Yeah, witcher 3 has ruined any experience I will have in the future when it comes to open world rpgs. And by that, I mean it has set the bar incredibly high. Played Fo4 for half an hour. Just got out of the vault. I will say that the graphics are still pretty solid on highest setting, but already, I feel the dialogue, the character expression, and the whole "tempo" of the game is off. It's too early to judge, I will play around 20 hours before giving a final review for it.

When I get home I put the disc into my drive and what do I see? 24GBs to download from steam. What the actual fuck did they put on the motherfucking DVD? Did I just buy a blank disk with an authentication code? Honestly, supply discs you lazy motherfuckers. Do it like GTA 5 or The Witcher 3. If I wanted to download the game I'd buy a digital copy or better yet pirate it.

Now, you just have 24 GBs to wait for.

the engine needs to die, its not modern and the stitches and patches just make it weird and the gamebryo core makes it perform just bad. the interface and controls for PC are the worst we ever had, its just random buttons for things and you cant rebind them. Press C to change color, press T to transfer scrap, press r to scrap, press f to rotate, hold V to build, use arrow keys for conversation and i personally dont like the voice acted player, he sounds lame and the twitter style answer selection is not very good, i rather play things out in my head, now i cant and i am apparantly a 25 year old bro. im not very far into the story, but the prophet that told me i am the chosen one made me facepalm, come on. At least i could tell her to cut the crap lol. The building feels well enough integrated, actually rebuilding villages is a nice theme.

That being said, i got exactly what i expected. 19 hours on the clock so far (VPN) - haven't even gone through half the map on survival difficulty. Just to comment on that 10 minutes to cross the map horseshit. I have roughly 25 locations which i haven't even visited yet (on the "easy" side of the map). 60 hours on easy sounds about right, i'd expect quite a bit more on survival, and even more if you're actually going into the settlement stuff. So far, contras are: UI, pathing of some NPC, the "tutoring", and well.. The settlement building. I'm pretty OCD, and it's almost impossible to align shit properly. -.-

This is actually really dumb, no idea how Todd looked at that and was like "yeah, that's EXACTLY how it should work".
