It felt good, man. As I slowly merged down to two I managed to eat him, making me even larger, and then...the game lagged, and I started over at beginning size on a different game. There wasn't a leaderboard wipe or anything, just a completely different game with a different players already on the leaderboard. What gives? Had the same issue on some game, fortunately not as advanced as yours. And that's a good thing, 'cause I named my blob salty tear for a reason... This game is as addictive as it is infuriating at times ^^

It would have been nice to enjoy more than ~3 minutes at 12,000 mass before arbitrarily being reset in a different game room also. It takes a certain amount of patience and luck to get there, I haven't been past ~1,000 mass and 8th or 9th on the leaderboard other than that one time.

Be warned that you lose 10% of the mass you release permanently even if you eat it back up afterwards so it's somewhat expensive now; I would only bother feeding a virus if I'm over around 500 at least.

On my first play a big guy underestimated my size and tried to eat me, only to end up feeding me in the process, got massive rly fast.

I've never seen a blob eat another blob of similar size; it seems like there's a threshold percentage of larger size one must be before it works. The person must have had absolutely dreadful perception to do that.

Its somewhat hard to know if you can split and eat them, or if they will just eat your split without a lot of experience. Two big people working together is so amazingly strong. Me (as Doge) and another Doge just teamed up and dominated taking the top 2 spots of the leaderboard of a server for like an hour or two. Just feed your buddy anything of yours that gets too small, and if you get virus'd just feed him the split off parts. It removes the threat of getting into a bad spot with a lot of small guys around you. In addition, being able to w them/feed them if your fighting a similarly sized blob makes it hard to lose. Cornering people also so much easier ^.^. He eventually had to go, and I got bored soon after and fed a "Doge virus" our 12k mass. Interestingly enough, if you have max number of blobs, you can eat virus's instead of getting split by them - they give alot of mass too. Not something you'd probably see if you arn't in the top 10 though.

Got this far by countering Viruses by simply waiting until they were nearly ready to split and firing the last shots myself, sending the new Virus in the opposite direction of me.
