I wouldn’t discount it as a possibility that they change tons of the game either though, I suppose it’s a matter of waiting until we get more concrete information. | ||

I am pretty sure we will get at least one new Tavern Hero, if not more. But dont get me wrong, I think changes to Balance and Meta are a good thing, it will bring fresh wind and maybe new strategies. I Just hope they keep Pathfinding 99,9% untoched, because the last thing we need in wc3 is clumping units like in sc2, like other stated before. | ||

Regardless of whether it’s ‘good’ or not, they’d basically have to rebalance the entire game if they alter fundamental unit behaviours in that way. I mean imagine how ridiculously strong rifle/caster with a few mortars would be if the rifles clump up and pump out DPS more easily, and mortars are firing at your opponents units that now naturally clump. It’s a long time ago now but Grubby’s videos about the subject indicate that they were pretty concerned about getting all the small things about feel as close to the original as possible. Things could have changed in the interim but at least based on that I wouldn’t see anything radical at all in the domain of big pathing changes or unlimited unit selection. I would like a few more tavern heroes that would be cool. | ||

Lyn is in what qualifies as a slump by his standards. Fly100% has disappeared as a force. Focus is still a force offline and takes out cups semi regularly. Lyn Guagua and Hug aren't quite there yet. Who knows what the new patch will do to the meta anyway. | ||

edit: when i set all my settings to high, i can play again. any ideas?? wtf?? i will continue testing to isolate the setting that is doing it edit2: it seems when i set "texture quality" to low, the game will crash when i try to make a game. setting it to medium does not crash the game so i will use that setting. will continue to post with more info. anyone else with low qual cpu's experiencing this?? edit 3: confirmed. the only video option that has any effect is the 'texture quality' so as a all-low user i am using everything on low/off but "texture quality" to medium | ||
