as far as the beginning of the game goes, the game does spike in difficulty after castle of satan so if you have a bad starting roll you'll hit a brick wall there too which might contribute to making the game seem hard to get into | ||

Oh well, fun game still, just gonna keep plugging along. I feel like they do a decent job of still giving you stones even after you've cleared most of the "easy" stuff. | ||

Plus i have a bunch of semi-decent dark subs that I kidna can't use Unless you have godlike skills, Kirin doesn't really work until you get echidna and a bunch of the 5 turn orb changers (eg. cu chu, sieg, valk, verche). Using other subs, while possible, is kinda ill advised imo, at least until you level your core team enough to tank most hits. On a related note, I tried to kirin Goemon mythical today. Died to ninjas on the first floor due to lack of red orbs. :| Beat it on my second attempt thanks largely in part to godin's stalling capabilities. | ||

K nvm, it doesn't shows it under the pre-emptive skill tab, but it does in the normal attack tab. Kinda dumb place to put that. Rip 50 stamina for no reason I guess | ||
