He'll I don't use her in really any team anymore. That just occurred to me. I'd feed her plus eggs away if she wasn't maxed skilled. | ||

It's hard not to get too distracted by trying to work on multiple teams at once and I'm not sure which will benefit me the most. Considering that my main teams are LKali and DMeta, I'm trying to figure out what would be the most useful to focus on right now. In some ways, Athena is quite similar to LMeta in how the team plays out, but already I feel like I can put out much more damage with Athena, so I prefer her team even though it's not maxed yet. .. She proceeds to go 0/5 on my last 5 baby tamas, it's ok, max awoken with tamamails. Then I fed a gold snowglobe (no bonus), 5x gold kings (no bonus), another 5x gold kings (no bonus), 3 gold kings (in case I get a bonus. No bonus), and with 65k exp to max, I fed her another gold king (Got a Great!) Honestly I don't even feel like building a team for her anymore lol, but what are some basic farmable teams for lKali? I assume my chibi sunquan and lvalk are going to have permanent spots on the team, and the other two spots are covering dark somehow while providing utility? | ||

Echidna Hera Sowilo is at least decent to cover dark. Sandalphon is decent if you skill him up. L Kali isn't that great when it comes to farmable subs. L Valk is nowhere near as good for her as Kirin because L Kali doesn't generate heart orbs with her active. I don't know what else you have in your box REM wise but premium subs are ... another L Kali, Yomi, L Meta, Fuma, Indra, and D Kali. I wouldn't really run her without some of those. I think L. Meta is super important for her to deal with binds for one thing and it nicely covers water. Yomi/D Kali are the premium ways to cover your dark. Decisions... L Meta tends to use plus eggs better. She can hit roughly the same HP levels but actually uses the HP better because L Meta teams tend to have a great deal more recovery with which to use that HP than Athena teams do. L Meta also has access to generally superior enhancers in the form of Sandalphon/Sun Quan (of which Sandalphon is nuts once hes maxed skilled.) You're seeing high damage with Athena because of her high two prong abilities but now with Chibi Valk/L Kali you can also two prong to greater effect than an Athena team normally does or with Awoken Venus/DQ you can go row enhances instead. They're both strong but I haven't really found a way to do most of the extreme rushes with Athena where as I've cleared them all with L Metatron. L Metatron also shits on anything that binds you. If you have Chibi Valk or L Kali or both you can bejeweled your way through alt dungeons/mech dragons like Athena does. | ||

I really hate the notion of "optimal" or "premium" subs because usually the resulting "ideal" team isn't actually ideal, it's just a stacked offensive team that can roflstomp through mid-high difficulty descends, but cannot actually complete true end game content like 99 stam rushes or challenge lv 8/9/10. You don't need an ideal team to easily and safely do the mid-high descends, and if you want to tackle the true end game content (which is entirely possible with those leaders) you need a lot more defensively oriented team. You can't run 4x offensive subs and 1 shot every floor because you will run out of actives before the end of the dungeon where every floor is a boss floor. My LKali team that I've used to 0 stone practically everything except challenge fl 10 is echidna / orochi / izanagi / d. izanami, with isis as an alternate if I need the bind clear (don't have lmeta). I have "premium" dark subs like arthur, yomi, and d/l batman, but I still prefer Diza 95% of the time. Fuma is a great sub but I simply don't have room for another offensive orb changer, I really only have room for 1 offensive sub and it has to be a damage enhancer in order to deal with the potential fatty in the 99 stam rushes. If I had only farmable subs for my team, I would replace orochi with chibi sq, and izanagi with sandalphon or pad bear (to deal with binds), and I'm pretty confident that I would have a 100% farmable lkali team that can complete a lot more content than the "ideal" LKali teams that kept getting thrown around. | ||

Going to be a pain to skill them up though :/ Padbear is an interesting suggestion, I kinda threw him aside and didn't even look at him lol. Kinda helps since I have no lmeta or any other rem card that helps with binds. And yeah, I have none of those premium subs lol. | ||

Skill ups are always a pain in this game but quite essential for any end game team. At least for izanagi and dizanami, you'll have easier skill up options soon such as dark bowl dragon and extreme metal dragon. Anyway my point is that you don't need any premium subs to complete everything non-conditional in the game with lkali except maybe challenge lv 10 (and I say maybe because with her ult evo it's already possibly using premium subs, we'll have to see about farmable subs though). | ||
