So in order to not die you have to hope that your opponent drops his combo? Sounds dumb.

Depending on the system of the game, I feel combo breakers spoiled newer generations. No one ever whined about it during the older games. Don't get hit, don't put yourself in a position to get hit. That's pretty much it.

No, in order not to die you have to kill your opponent, and if you do get your character hit and lose him, you have 2 more characters. there is a lot of false equivalence going on here.

Yes there are even infinites but they require 2 characters. There are a few 1 character 100% combos depends on the character base hp.

Most characters can 100% the low-HP characters (~800k damage) without xfactor or DHCs.

And if you play defense properly, you won't get picked up into 100% combos.

To single characters, yes, there are plenty. To whole teams, no., which is why it's a silly comparison.

By using all resources Zero has like 10 million dmg combos(highest hp for a char is 1.25mil). With DMC assists Zero has 850k meterless and 500k per lightning loop(lightning loops cost about 0.7 bars of meter)

If these 100-0 combos are as hard as you guys are saying, it's probably fine they exist, albeit a bit boring to watch. But I have the feeling the difficulty is being overstated. I guess it's something you need to play the game to appreciate (which I don't and probably won't)

I didn't see this specific part, but if he blocked, it's because Stalking Flare stays on the field and tracks until Dormammu is hit or it does its 20 or so hits.
