Wasn't sure what it meant by "game modes" but from under Double Blind Selection it has this "... which characters and modes (e.g. ISM, Assist mode, or Ultras) ..." So that includes Ultras.
The rule should probably allow for changed Ultras, but as they are it looks like it could technically be against the rules.

I think winner should be allowed to switch Ultra if loser changes. I think it can be a problem with for example Makoto

I've been waiting for so long man, so glad Melee is in and so far some crazy matches and it's only pools lol

Daigo and Justin Wong are top3 candidates? When is grand final?

Does anyone have a link to pools that are actually updated? I can't find any results.

But I doubt they would do that since it's rather unfair and breaks the tradition.

Grand finals take place Sunday.
I wouldn't say either are likely to get top 3.

The online brackets are updated manually, so they're behind. If you go through them, you'll see some filled out completely and some untouched.

It's never about time-span in SF. 3rd Strike is the hardest, requires most skill and delivers the best entertainment imo. Even the like of Daigo was barely top10, then again we have beasts like Kuroda, Rx, Boss who owned like nobody else. It's totally the BW of fgs

Another point in st's bag is random gliches

For the love of god do not turn this into a discussion about what Game is best. It's fucking awful. It's all opinion and nobody gives a shit.

DreamHack @DreamHack 18m In 20 minutes @FA_Popi is scheduled to enter @evo2k Pool Play in C9. http://gopopi.dreamhack.se/ @Rockstar_SWE #GOPOPI Hoping it get streamed
|
who are the top players and can we see them today?
|
Any news on the nemo and kazunoko/Rabe brackets? The evo Brackets twitter tweets some brackets as updated but they arent really updated at all. Edit: Ok, it seems the brackets need 15 minutes to refresh or something.
|
So, I'm watching the first stream as a total SF noob... is it just me, or are these casters simply terrible? They sound like any random fan out of the twitch chat just cheering on their favorite players, instead of casters actually trying to explain and comment on what's going on in the game. Have I been spoiled by the SC2 casters?
|
Don't compare this to an SC2 final. This is basically the open pools of MLG. Not much to explain when one player is outmatched. They also rotate casters. They'll step it up for semis and finals, don't worry.

Blind player on the mk9 stream right now
