I would like to see exactly why the X Box is priced $100 more. I wonder if its solely due to the Kinect being included or not. It would be nice to see some specs. No, it really isn't. Used games allowed = it gets retailer preference/support. That alone is colossal. I'm not going to list the other reasons as it's obvious why Sony has instantly won IF Microsoft doesn't change their plans. I think they will change things though, as there is no way they're going to compete with PS4 not requiring Internet access etc. But they're still going to start at a huge disadvantage.

As much as I have always preferred Xbox and I hate to say it... PS4 wins. Destiny fuck yeah!

And the more it sells/more people interested in it, the easier it will be to get 3rd party developers support. Ofc Microsoft have enough money to buy plenty of exclusives and mp games (in case if those games were planned as ps4 only games), but with all those ridiculous decisions they made, XB1 will fail.

How privileged are you? The vast, vast, vast majority of buyers will own one gaming console per generation, and the vast majority of buyers are also affected and/or care about things like "always online" and the used game fiasco.

The problems that Xbox faces now have nothing to do with the numerous reasons the Dreamcast failed. Sega had been in debt for years prior to the Dreamcast. Sega had just had two failed system launches prior to Dreamcast. Sega only cared about the Japanese market. Those were the major issues and none of them affect MS.

Im not that privileged. Im a single male in the military making less than a lot of people. But I get paid enough to where I can afford to spend a couple hundred bucks a few times a year. I play games all the time with co workers, its an easy way to hang out with new people in the military and most of us have both and plan on buying both.

I prefer the 360 over the PS3 personally and I own both. But this is one of the most one sided ass beatings I've seen in a while. If they keep the DRM I don't see any way they're staying in this game. It's not like PS3 vs 360 where the 360 came out cheaper but by and large they were very similar consoles. 360 sold WAY better out of the gate but PS3 eventually closed some ground with price reductions. This is from the word "go" Microsoft took out a .50 cal and blew their own foot off. You either say "jk guys! Come back!" or you wait 6-7 years for the next gen and try again lol.
