Has this cross severs or is it regionlocked? Normally i would start on EU but if there are a few others who'd like to play i have no problem with playin on NA or sth | ||

Last I heard both PvP servers are a graveyard so you want to play on PvE even though you enjoy PvP. The only difference between both types of servers is open world PvP, you can still do arenas and BGs on the PvE server. edit: And you can't swap between NA and EU, choose carefully when you buy the game. | ||

Will give this a chance later today. Maybe i like it, mabye i don't  Gonna start a Spellslingen cause thats just my favourite role. Was playing a Mage in Rift, a Sorcerer in Tera and a mage heavy char in TESO and i guess SS comes nearest to a Sorcerer/Mage :D | ||

I did a few of the dungeons today that I skipped while leveling and they are a lot of fun, but some are really longgggg. Shrine of the Sword Maiden took me almost 2hrs 20 minutes (mostly because no one in the group had done it before so the first boss beat us down for an hour). Now that I am learning more of the dungeons though I can see pushing myself to go through them faster and be less cautious on some pulls. Overall though I like the dungeons so far. Guess I will try to find a guild that wouldn't mind doing vet adventures/dungeons and see what I can do. | ||

Leveling at a pretty slow pace, cause i need my daily dose of Heroes ^^ Got some questions so: Gearing while leveling: i'm playing mainly PvP battlegrounds and a few dungeons/adventures/ PvE stuff here and there. I noticed my gear is quite bad 1. Is it worth it to buy some gear with prestige? 2. Is this gear worse than the PvE equivalent? 3. Should i start buying lvl 50 PvP gear early? 4. Is lvl 50 PvP gear good enough for PvE stuff? or do i need definitely another PvE set? 5. Is crafted gear any good? haven't started crafting yet and i'm wondering if it's worth it (playing SS, thinking about light armor crafting) 6. I noticed you can buy season 1 as well as season 2 PvP gear... which should i buy? 7. Should i save my prestige for AMP/abilite upgrades? 8. What does one do with Omnibits? Renown? i hate that there are sooooo many currencies... :/ | ||

1. Not sure which currency Prestige is (I presume its the PvP one). If you could use an upgrade, sure! If you are still leveling and not level 50 yet, I would wait then unless you are only PvPing. Generally I would easily get upgrades during leveling from boe drops/quest rewards. Also I was fairly undergeared questing (had some gear with ilevel 30 when I was in level 40+ zones) before getting upgrades. Game does a nice job at giving you gear at a good rate while leveling. 2. Yes, PvP gear is scaled to PvE content. I don't know the exact extent but have seen people comment that the PvP gear you can get is roughly equivalent to Vet Expedition/Adventure gear in terms of what it does for PvE. Should allow you to run the easier Vet Dungeons. 3. I wouldn't, there is no incentive that I am aware of that gives you an advantage of buying it early. Just wait until 50 and upgrade the best pieces you can first. 4. See answer 2., PvP gear can be used in PvE however it is scaled somewhat. If you do Vet dungeons/Raids you will want gear from Vet dungeons and raids. 5. Crafted is similar to Renown/PvP gear. It helps get you started at end game to do Vet dungeons but I believe from what I've seen so far, most crafted gear is not going to be better than your good Vet dungeon drops or raids. (I haven't gotten all the way up on crafting so I could be incorrect) 6. I would just see which is better, I presume season 2 is better but I don't pvp so I don't know. 7. You should definitely get your AMP/Ability upgrades so you can unlock all of them. You can get these from Reputation grinds as well (most of the end game areas Beloved Rep sells them) 8. Omnibits seem to be the games currency for skipping other costs. So you can buy Omnibits from the shop to then buy other things from vendors at static price. Renown is currency you get from doing Mentoring/Contracts/Vet Expeditions/Adventures. You use this to buy gear from vendors in the daily quest hub area in your capital city. I am sure there is more to answer for all of this but this is what I have see so far. Hope it helps some, even if not full answers on them all. | ||
