So I actually read through all of that. Do I get it right that the top part are issues that could happen on PC and console? I am asking because I did 2 playthroughs on PC and I never had problems anywhere close to issues this patch addresses. Once again it seems like I am playing a different game ...

Excited to see if some of the performance / UI improvements will make a difference though. And excited to finally grab my eddies off the chip in The Pickup on my next playthrough :D

That was my understanding. On PC, most of those issues I didn't run into. There were some issues with menu accessing (sluggish) and clipping during certain parts, but I haven't done another playthrough yet to see if it still persists. But for sure, the amount of issues fixed that I didn't know were issues is staggering. Doesn't affect me at all really.

My biggest hope is that Sony puts it back on PSN. That would be the best thing for this moment. Another patch and then DLC by September would be dope. Plus next-gen updates. I'm gonna see if I can get the RT on AMD to work.

Excited to finally try the game after this big patch, I have postponed trying it out after playing other games and also because I was fully expecting it to be quite bugged since the game was meant to be huge plus the fact that they tried to release in on way too many platforms (not just PC and latest consols).

Still gonna play a bit They are Billions before trying it out though, might have some small bugfixes happening after this huge patch.

Got it downloaded and installed. Played a few minutes. I played this morning a little bit and the game ran like butter. Now it's glitching on the menus, again. Not sure what the issue is with that. But going into the map or any main menu just takes forever that I have to alt+tab to see the cursor and do anything.

They also fixed the exploit where you could sell and rebuy the artwork to get money. It's now double to buy it back. Which makes it worthless to have imo.

Not sure what the issue was, but the game is back to running smoothly. Probably something to do with side loading through Steam. Opened GOG and it was smooth. Opened it back with Steam and it's smooth again.

Is there aditional content yet or is it all patches and fixes?
Haven't touched it since my first two initial playthroughs and doing all endings.

No new content yet, it's basically just a huge list of bug fixes.
first we make expand, then we defense it.

I'm probably going to have to start a new playthrough to appreciate the bug fixes. My biggest gripe, as I mentioned before, is the economy. It seems to be somewhat fixed, as prices are a little higher but still not sure how it scales from beginning to end.
Weapons are scaling decently as you level up. Just hit lvl 40 with 50+ SC and I'm walking through the last bits of side missions. If they can add more content with a few more hot fixes/patches before they give us DLC, I'll be a happy camper. But giving us stuff as DLC that was cut shouldn't count, imo. I'm thinking there'll be a patch for the train system to be implemented.
As well as being able to find more missions just by walking around (increased fixer needs). There's also car customization that I'd like to have as well, if possible. The last thing I would want is to be able to join a gang/faction or just go it alone and make my own gang/faction. That could be a DLC though...

I was over on their forums, and let me tell you, that place is a fucking dumpster fire of people complaining. This news has me torn because I haven't played RDR2 Online or GTA Online. So I don't know how this would have worked for CP2077. I'd be down for an always online kind of world though, where we can interact with other players and do difficult missions together. But not a necessarily "this game depends on having more than one person to play" kind of thing. Something akin to the Souls games where people can "invade" your game but it doesn't take away from the single player aspect of the title, if that makes sense.

If you want multiplayer in a game as complex as CP2077 you need to design it from the ground up with that in mind, and I doubt they did that based on everything we have seen.

How much sense would it make to start work on another engine for CDPR? I don't think they can make it all work within the timeframes they've set/painted themselves into.

Has anyone else had an issue with stats not showing? I went into my character screen to see where all my stuff is at, and while I'm 40/50, all of my stats to the right at basically 0's.

So I just went in and I think you have to have a weapon equipped to see the stats of your combat. It's weird that it doesn't show base damage but I guess having something equipped to see stats makes sense.

A lot of people on the CDPR CP2077 forums are complaining about things that I am not running into, like NPC/car traffic being sparse. Most of my time there are always someone around and there are always cars present. It's pretty populated depending on the area and time of day. But it's never "lifeless". Also, a lot of them seem to be looking for the smallest issues to rail against, like not getting quickhacks from accessing terminals. I'm getting them but even if I didn't, I have a ton of them already.

I think I should just start a fresh playthrough to see if anything major happens, but I don't think they will. It's interesting to read about all of these bugs and really never encountering them.

My impression is pretty much always that people create accounts in company forums to complain in a spot visible to the company. Like in pretty much every company forum of a larger company I've been in people were extremely negative.

Then again bugs often come from interplay between different functions and on occasion drivers, so just because you don't run into these bugs doesn't mean others don't.

I never said they were lying. Just that I'm not running into them. There are a few like the Panam missions that I found bugs. Certain loot not being able to be interacted with. Some missions not triggering correctly. But it wasn't something that broke the game or ruined it for me. I just reloaded and tried again, and it worked. There are things that needed fixing but what they fixed I was fortunate enough to not run into them during my current playthrough.
