I feel like he's looking to nitpick on what everyone already knows so it doesn't make any sense to rant about it. Just review what you can and once it launches, release your full review and update your scoring appropriately. I can understand his frustration, but without the day 1 patch, it doesn't do anything to point out flaws we know are there. If the game is playable and he's finished it as he claims, then the game can't be that bad. Frustrating because of bugs etc? Sure. I don't blame a reviewer for saying "I can't show you my review because I want to show the bad side but they won't let me". I will play this regardless so long as the bugs are not game breaking but if I check a review I want to see the bad, so I can judge if its bad enough to turn me off the game. As for no console reviews. I would be super wary if I were a console player (I'm not) because of the rumours that atleast some of the delays were because of bad console performance. Good chance this runs like absolute garbage on ps4.

Wait another 1-2 months, the worst stuff will be fixed and you can enjoy it.

For every 10/10 not deserved, there is an edgy contrarian just nitpicking and blowing everything out of proportion for easy clicks. You haven't played the game, I haven't played the game. Will this be the first game in a long time that I will sink 50+ hours into?... probably. And that's all that matters to me

You aren't ever going to get a game that is ambitious, breaks new ground, expands what is possible, has huge amounts of high quality content and is free from issues and bugs. You get a couple of those things at a cost. The Witcher 3 didn't just arrive fully formed. There were 2 games before it that had huge, huge issues with performance and glitches, even though they were amazing games.

Reading what it seems you are talking about some french youtuber / journalist review on twitter. Pretty sure the day 1 game will have far less bugs, and other "issues" are probably very arguable.

I expect it to be as buggy as TW3 in 2015. As long as there are no game breaking glitches, I can live with some visual bugs. I've played Bethesda games for all my life, I know what a buggy mess looks like.

Or wait for another 10 months, get it mostly bug free possibly with additional content/fixes to the most glaring gameplay errors and on sale for half the price. Mostly how I've been playing games, my steam library of shame is way too big to jump on every game I might be interested in.

Launch trailer is out. Compared to most of the previous trailers, it's melancholic, reflective and emphasizes the relationships you'll build with the characters, based on it displaying the love interests and close-ups of main characters over explosions and violence. Set to a slow, airy cover of Never Fade Away and a breathy monologue of life and death, it's a foil to most of the trailers that were all about its explosive punkiness and edge. The game's heartfelt, emotional side resonates strongly in this, and that's what CDPR do best.

This is the first time I am actively investing time in epilepsy and gaming. I had no idea that it was so big a problem. I always thought they just had to do the warning as a legal measure. I really hope all people who suffer from something like this to find a way to enjoy Cyberpunk, enjoy gaming and live their lives unhindered <3

I just read that some people had their settings set to ultra (or at least higher than they should) without the necessary hardware and had a lot of bugs and glitches because of that. Also CDPR said a lot of those review testing bugs have already been solved in the Day1 patch but that remains to be seen
