Sorry for getting your hopes up about getting a reckless Staravia. T_T its all good, thank you for taking the time to look. I don't quite understand tho, what do you mean by not a fan? Well I meant that he probably isn't getting the game anytime soon. So I probably won't be unlocking the hidden abilities in that safari.
ohh right you can have friend codes of people that don't actually play the game. makes sense now. well ill keep trying to get lucky on GTS. anyone that has a reckless staravia/staraptor hit me up :3

So I threw some of my 4IV Modest/HA frogs on the Wonder Trade... I got a pokemon from someone with an Everstone on it and it does not look like it was caught from a friend safari either.

I've tried out those Restaurant thingies in the city (Le Yeah), Protect is bloody obnoxious.

The extra money you get in the form of items from completing rounds in the required amount of turns is not worth the frustration. Just use an Amulet Coin and activate your best Prize Money O-Power before starting, and just try to end the series as quickly as possible. You'll still get a good profit, and do it much faster with fewer headaches.

Read a few of these to get a good idea of how to play it: articles. You're probably going to want to grab most of your team from the OverUsed tier but a lot of UnderUsed pokes are pretty good as well. Found out you can run into Rotom in this gen from Lost Hotel dumpsters on Tuesday... wonder what the odds are on getting a Washer one to show up :o. its just a regular rotom that shows up, you go to the second floor of the lab to change him. Im using a rotom-w on my comp team
Is rotom breedable? Might try a volturn comp if my drizzle team doesn't pan out as I expected.

He is breedable, every poke besides legendaries and 2 dittos together can breed

Babies can't breed with ditto either. togepi, tyrogue, etc etc. the upside is that all babies and legendaries start with 3 perfect IVs as a result, making lines with babies extremely easy to breed for (hi togekiss, azumarrill, etc)
anyone have a whismur safari btw or know if that even exists?

Fairly sure Unown can't breed either but I've not actually tested since who in their right mind would actually breed unown

Hey guys I recently picked up Pokemon again after a long time. (played blue, gold and ruby). Just curious how people have been feeling about the art change?
I do miss the old school pixels but the 3D models look pretty good. The part I find weird for me personally though is the art for the trainers (your's included). The art style seems to have made all the trainers look like they're 4-8 years old (far too "cutesy"). The monsters look pretty good though. Seems most people are actually fine with the art direction so maybe I'm just crazy or maybe this change has already occurred for a couple generations prior to this one? Anyways, I'm just curious because it seems that it bothers me the most haha.

well it is fun to make your character look as stupid as possible, I guess it depends on how you take it. Sportin' the sneakers and sports pants with a pink v-neck and a fedora.

Haha yeah I am actually trying to make my character look as ridiculous as possible. It's quite fun. Those super cute faces (more so than before I think) are what bothers me though and that can't be changed. The trainers and gym leaders you fight also have that similar style as well. Although I haven't played in a good while, networks still play those Pokemon cartoons on TV and I've had glimpses of the origins mini series, the art seemed to be closer to the old style still.
At any rate I am getting more accustomed to the art but I was just surprised initially. Overall still a very fun game.

I need some help filling my Pokedex with those dumb trade evolutions. Would anyone mind helping me evolve my Swirlix, Spritzee, Pumpkaboo, Kadabra, and Seadra, and trading each back? Also, I need a Gorebyss in my 'Dex, but I don't want to waste a DeepSeaScale, so if you have Y and fish a Gorebyss up with a Super Rod on Route 12, I can trade you a Huntail and trade back to get both of us our entries.
I know it's a lot of Pokemon and will take some time, so I will reward the person who wants to help with one of my spare Joltiks from my breeding project. They have pretty good IVs and are Timid, so they'll make a good start toward a Galvantula should you want one.
Thanks!

Thanks! Ill help you, will help me fill up my dex anyway too. Okay, lemme just evolve my Horsea into a Seadra so it can turn into a Kingdra when traded, and I'll start up the trades. Also, I forgot to mention I need to evolve my Boldore too. Hope that doesn't matter too much. :<
Make sure to catch a Gorebyss with a Super Rod on Route 12 if you play Pokemon Y. If not, that's fine, we don't have to trade for that one (I don't wanna waste either of our Clamperl evolution items).

Ugh, it takes forever to level up Pokemon in X and Y compared to Black2/White2. It might be a bit before Horsea decides to evolve...

Okay, ready to go. Start a trade whenever you're ready.
