And about the controls (assuming you play on PC): Make sure to rebind either crouch or sprint or both or you'll get serious problems with your pinky, especially if you play for several hours at a time. | ||

- keeping an eye on alerts for useful modules / blueprints / rewards beyond the credits (@WarframeAlerts on twitter, there are also Xbox and PS versions as well) - crafting new weapons to rank them up for mastery experience. I've made it to level 4 using just my first frame and a handful of weapons - log in every day for the log-in reward, if I get the 75% off reward I'll probably spend $25 for $100 worth of platinum, just waiting for that to happe - helping clan-mates with missions, co-op for Level 1 Towers with them (really doesn't pay to go with fewer than 3 players) If you guys are interested in a clan of newer / lower ranked players on the PC send me a friend invite in-game. My user name is Hydraslik. The more, the merrier. Our clan dojo is basically non-existent though, that might be a problem if you're looking for advanced blueprints or something. Just having folks to do stuff with has been pretty big in keeping me in the game. Can't hurt to give it a shot! | ||

used the platinum to buy 1 slot of warframe and 2 of weapons. what is a good early investment, one pet? or better a weapon? is there any resource with the dps of every weapon? | ||

That's probably all you need for a while. I still haven't used mine yet. If you need basic mods and cores I recommend running Mercury-Apollodorus for 20 or 25min before extract. I usually pick up 8-12 cores per 30m run. | ||

You want to work on unlocking planets by killing world bosses (tagged as assassination missions). There are places more suited to grinding XP (affinity) than others. I leveled up a new frame and set of weapons today very quickly running infested mobile defense missions on Saturn. | ||
