never let your energy fall to 0 because that will also stop metal extraction. if your energy/metal reaches the max, make more con units (construction k-bot or vehicle). use your commander- he builds stuff really fast at the start of the game, and has powerfull laser and of course the d-gun, which takes 600 energy to fire, works only near the start pos, but no unit can survive it. don't tech too fast, lvl1 units are cheap and work well in mass (pewees, thuds, flashes...) use LTT for defence early in the game, they only cost 23 metal and can save you alot of destruction. try to harass throughout the game, find weak spots, surprise the enemy with fast units raids or gunships or hovercrafts over water, etc. I'm playing only Absolute Annihilation 1.44 ATM, in order not to get confused with the other mods. keep radar coverage of everything, try to jam stuff that are range of his long range weapons. The beginning build order is very easy to fuck up and cause a stall, which is very bad. Stall is when you have 0 energy or metal, so your commander builds stuff very slowly. my BO is usually something like: Wind, Wind, mex(Metal EXtrator), Wind, Kbot\Vehcile factory, more energy as required, some fast rushing units, more metal....... It's quite easy to reach a decent level of skill, and this game is very fun, download it and the AA mod, play some games and see for yourself! | ||

the mods are slightly annoying, tho. all the new buildings thrown in a single build menu, omg :/ it was already too stuffed with the old buildings only.. | ||
