the timing on double super can be tricky. it's easier if you do an a super first, i think. that could just be my experience though.

for all the aki players here, blocked kill rush, 4a, 6ab, 6b is a godlike mixup. fast crossup that allows for followup combo off the wallbounce.

also just found out if you charge the 4b followup, it's unblockable. everyone probably already knew that, but it was news to me lol

The good stuff i've found is that mitsuru's 5aaa chain is punishable on block with a kill rush if she does all 3 hits. so is her 5b if she doesn't cancel it, and if the mits player is canceling 5b into sweep (as opposed to the stab), you can just 2a her out of it.

If you crunch the numbers, you'll notice that each individual character's proportion on the chart translates DIRECTLY to their CTWP (Chance to Win Percentage)

For example, if Aigis(28%) fights against Yosuke(11%), then there is a 28% chance Aigis will win the match, and an 11% chance Yosuke will win.

Akihiko vs Liz: 15% chance Akihiko will win, 13% chance Liz will win.
Narukami vs Mitsuru: 21% chance Narukami will win, 26% chance Mitsuru will win.
Etc. Etc...

Compiling the data and making the chart wasn't easy, but we tried to make it simple enough and used many bright colors to ensure the Americans would also be able to understand.

what gave it away?

That won't stop most people from believing it, as illustrated by this pie chart:

What are you followups after a crossup 6b? I usually do a run up 5b j.b j.a JC j.a j.b 214a ender. Although I wouldn't be surprised if I can throw in some 5b j.5 loop into a super ender.

Oh and Labrys is roflllllllllllllll I was getting straight gimmicked by so many online Labrys its pretty funny.

edit: mmmm i did land dbl super once using a super into b super but I'm still not consistent with it. But this seems to be doing the trick tho.

after crossup 6b I use 5b, j.b, 5aa, 2ab, 236a, 6b (3600 damage), but the timing is somewhat strict on it so I may just switch to using the ender you listed.

Ok doing it b version first than a version makes it work 99% of the time for me now. Can't seem to land double b supers but oh well.

mmm pretty sure your ender is the best non super ender to go. 5b j.b 5.b j.b j.a jc j.a j.b 214a does less damage and the ender will drop sometimes if you aren't careful which leaves you open to an ass whooping.

Anybody playing story mode? Lol If it's as good as P3/P4 was I should seem playable for me.

At first, I bought this game for the story mode... and now, I can't put it down! It's just so much fun looking at the little details, playing online, and having different navigators support you!

Yes, for me at least it's the best fighter I've played since MvC2. Kind of similar in a lot of ways. It's very accessible to all skill levels, but the better player will almost always win. Every character has options which require a great deal of execution and practice, but also easy BnBs and universal mobility. Some other games have a higher barrier to entry or are more random. Finally, the cast is fairly balanced (unlike MvC2, lol).

Annnnnd I'm sold (though I didn't really need to be since I already bought the game, but reassurance is nice )

So still working on the story and dabbling in the other modes for trophy purposes, can I just say the score attack based trophies feel almost impossible. The AI in score attack do stupid amount of damage compared to normal fights. Also I suck at the challenges. Made it to C online, and 25% done with story, really liking it overall.

All this makes me want though is Persona 5...so ready for it.

The biggest hurdle for me is getting used to the movement since I never played games with airdashes double jumps running etc.

This game is really fun, though. They did a good job of making it accessible to new players while still having a great level of depth to seperate new players from people willing to invest time in the game to get better at it.

Remember guys to watch the demonstration of trials if you have a hard time. Sometimes it shows you extra 'moves' which aren't actually shown inputs to make the combo possible.

Hey guys I'm pretty new to fighting games, is this a good one to pick up to try to play "semi seriously" ? I played vanilla sf4 when it was out for a while but that's it. I played p4a at a mate's house and it was so fun for the little I played. So I wanted to know if it's actually hard to pick up and is there any skill ranking online ? I'm used to getting rolled but it's always easier to get better with people slightly above your level, not getting perfecte'd in 10 sec every round.
You'll wish I'd never stooped to notice you.

I would say 4 only because it's the one with the least obstruction once the cutouts and buttons are put in.
