1.82 GB Seriously, why does the game crash so fucking much?! Im not even trying to run the game on High or Ultra (eventhough I get relatively decent FPS) and I just pick Medium... Still crashing way too oftenm beginning it was a fucking waste of money.
I think almost everyone is crashing. Also servers keep crashing to. Think I am going to wait until a patch because I am getting annoyed of joining a game and it crashing within 10 minutes (whether its a server crash or me).

Of the Last 10 Games I played 7 or 8 crashed. Its so terrible. And its not even one crash. Sometimes its a AppCrash, sometimes a CTD and sometimes the Server just disconnects...
And the fun fact is, before the Day1 Patch I played without problems from 28th October to the 31th...

For tonight really felt worse than any of the days before.
I managed to get to level 11 since friday, but there'd be no way to do that right now.

Same here... crashed 8 times consecutively trying to join a friend on Siege of Shanghai. Gave up and joined another server where I only crashed once during the first load.
Stellar programming. I don't regret my purchase one bit!

I started very late with Battlefield 3 , actually 3-4 days before the end of it so I cannot comment too much on the maps there, but I really don't understand the hate towards the maps. I think its greatly depending on the class. I personally play Assault , because I never was much of a sniper and neither vehicle user. I like to help my team with reviving/medipacks etc.
So... now as for the maps, I think it also depends (even more so) greatly on the mode you play it. As an example I like Goldmud Railway in Domination and Team Death Match while I don't like it as much in Rush or Conquest.
I do like Operation Locker in basically all modes. Rush, Obliteration, Domination, Team Death Match. There is basically no map I dislike in all modes. If I would be honest it comes down to playing those maps the most:
Siege of Shanghai (Domination, Rush, Obliteration, TDM)
Operation Locker (Domination, Obliteration, TDM, Rush)
Zavod (Domination, TDM)
Dawnbreaker (TDM)
Goldmud Railway (TDM, Domination)
Hanain Ressort (Domination)
Lancang Dam (Rush, Domination)
Rogue Transimission (Domination)
so... thats it ! Also, I believe the servers get more stable from day to day. Good luck on the Battlefield.
PS: Fuck Flood Zone, all modes!

why doesn't this game balance teams? i'm always on the team with random people against a [xXx420MEGA] clan. it's really not that much fun to play.

That's been a problem with BF for a long, long time. It's all too easy to dominate a server with a small number of organized players, and they never get broken up/balanced. It's the worst in Conquest. If a team caps every point and just wrecks yours in 5 minutes, it's not bound to ever stop until they quit playing, and why would they when they get 7-10k xp for 5 minutes of play. I suggest just finding a new server at that point.

I only played Conquest and Obliteration so far and most maps are fine, so no complains about the mappool.
Best maps are Zavod 311, Dawnbreaker and Paracel Storm. Operation Locker could be an amazing map aswell, but everyone plays it like metro 2.0 and turns it into the worst clusterfuck ever. I personally don't like Goldmud Railway, because I think it's too big, but I can see why people like it. Oh and I actually never played Rogue Transmission so far, lol.
Worst fucking map is Siege of Shanghai in Conquest small.
And I found a compilation thread for bugs/glitches/crashes and possible fixes. Some worked for me, some didn't, my audio problem for example is gone, but game still crashes most of the time. Perhaps you guys have more luck with it:

Most people that use 'call of kiddy' 'call of faggots' and so on should grow up. I play what is fun to me. Since I don't enjoy vehicles as much, I play modes and maps with not as many of them. Grow up mister uberpro. Also TDM/Domination and Obliteration is good for learning the map in general and getting a good all around feeling for how to move and how to handle situations not just 1v1.
Also its better to work on your aim short and middistance which is what I need as assault. For long range you can have vehicles and recons in bigger modes. But keep on flaming!

Lots of server issues wouldn't let it bother you to much I imagine most of the issues are going to be fixed this week (I hope anyway).
