JRPGS make awful speedruns and those people are insane In all seriousness I like routing and RNG lets me route on the fly rather than every run being the same

San Andreas is such a long game that avoiding all this shit for over 6 hours is hard. GTA3 is a good example. There is a lot of bullshit in that game, but it has become so optimized that a single turn not taken properly can cost you your PB (at least for the people under 1:25), and that's not RNG in most cases. The runs are usually very entertaining to watch, and it's fun to play, so that's why the GTAs have become so popular lately, especially since AGDQ. There was 3-4 runners before that, most notably oasiz and S, and now there's easily 30+ Vice City went from a 1:49 WR to 1:32, and San Andreas went from a 7:30+ to 6 hours. It has been a really fun year for GTA speedrunning so far.

Pokemon world record runs are okay to watch but you'd have to pay me to watch a pokemon streamer. Barely and I mean barely does a run make it past half way nevermind to the end. Also I really hope Cosmo gets sub 4:30 on this run although I have a horrible feeling that although he's -5:31 with a hour and 1/2 left in his run somethings gonna fuck up and make him have to reset.

Honestly this doesn't sound very different from San Andreas runs, if you replace "half way" with "quarter way" ![]() Still I find SA runs/attempts very enjoyable.

Hey guys wanna see the Prima Vista in FF9? 5 minute intro for a chance to steal an item on the first go and have baku kill Cinna THEN to get a frame perfect trick after another 2 minute cut scene all the while your thumb is on fire due to the mashing technique used in FF9. Pokemon running honestly isn't that bad if you take any other RPG to the extremes that pokemon runners do ![]()
