I did a Navi dive today. And I got ISG when I tried it. I also got a ground jump once? And I figured out Ocarina items. It felt pretty good. I'm complete shit at Zelda games regardless, but it was fun to learn.
Now at least I know what people are doing when I watch them Speedrun.
Woo I learned the Rock Tunnel route in Leaf Green. In my mind it was going to be the most difficult part in the game so I put it off until today. I literally viewed the map images on bulbapedia and watched one of MBM's run through it and I got through it first try. A few more times through and I can run it near flawlessly, although I need to work on bike control.
Also VBA is slowing down my runs by fluctuating between 98 and 100% speed T.T

I'll be honest and say this is/was a significant part of my motivation for learning 16 star SM64 and some OoT stuff lmao. Still waiting for that party! It'll pay off some day! xD
Ah, now I know where the mixup came from. Xfullmetal also has numbers in his name so I believe I mixed him up with you Xiphias. I Knew we had a braid runner on TL. Toss me your twitch info etc so I can edit it in on the previous page. Trying to compile a list of runners from TL. It hasn't been updated for ages.

Wow.... did I really miss that?
Didn't expect anything good to come out of it considering how poor the start was. :/
He was 16 Minutes ahead (5:56 pace) the after Gang Territories, but then he failed Cut Throat Business, lost 6 minutes 3 missions before the end. Even yolo mode couldnt get the sub-6 for him.
Holy hell Samura1man with the near perfect run: 1:30:02 any% in Sunshine, improved his PB by 47 seconds and the WR by 43 seconds. That run will be hard to beat

It was so sad though he would have got sub 1:30 but missed the second to last jump on the final boss.

Yeah it was sad to see, he will need perfect luck to beat that again.
Oh btw:
Samura1man @Samura1man 1h I can't stand looking at 1 3 0, it has to be 1 2 9 SO I'M NOT DONE YET!!!
I'm late to the party, but I've been learning and practicing GTA Vice City any%. I've only completed 2 runs so far, the first being 2:02:33 (esperanto didn't show up), the 2nd run I've just done netted me 1:42:10, I was sooooo happy to see that on the timer. I still have a long way to go, I've wasted quite a bit of time on stuff that isn't RNG (driving, a few phonecalls) but still, I was gunning for sub 2 hours and didn't expect a low 1:4x to happen for a long time. I'll highlight the video as soon as I can, and I'm on http://www.twitch.tv/m00nchile85 if you wanna check it out.
