I'm playing on Zalvena(NA) or something, lv 25 guardian. We should group up sometime. I got my conjurer to 15 also, hoping to hit 30 today and unlock Paladin jobs. Do you mean Zalera?

I haven't yet played any DPS classes, but I feel like black mages are insane at the moment, judging from groups. I'm not really a big fan of the story at all. The "ohhh my head hurts, time to pass out and float around in the sky/crystals" stuff gets kinda silly. The cutscenes are OK and the music is bland in comparison to traditional final fantasy music IMO. Not to say its not enjoyable as a whole, but I think one of the reasons I enjoy it is because its simply "NOT WOW". Yeah, from what I hear (haven't tanked any real dungeons yet), enimity should be a non-issue, to the degree where Paladins should put every single statpoint in VIT because there's no enemity generation needed if you use the proper rotation. As for fixing the issue of people attacking the wrong mobs, marking should help a lot with that, hopefully. I also agree about the story, the cutscenes are longwinded, barely anything happens, the dialogue is subpar... I'm skipping almost everything because it bores me hardcore. I personally find the music good though, especially the music in Uldar is really nice.

Nothing award winning, but if you are skipping large chunks of it then it's kind of unfair to rate the story negatively when you aren't reading large parts of it, even if the parts you did read didn't hold your attention. Obviously its going to be less immersive if you skip all the dialogue and cutscenes. I have skipped every single cutscene and bit of text in the game thus far, and I'm level 44. I have no idea what's going on lol. I may have to read a wiki or something =(

IMO if they didn't actually want to invest in doing it for the whole thing, it would have been better if they just didn't do them at all -- Yeah, I'm a bit bummed out about that. Whenever there's a cutscene, I'm always hoping for there to be voice-overs, only to be disappointed more than half the time.

If you were using JP audio, on the other hand, you'd be getting an all star cast! I wish there were more voice acting but I'll accept what I've gotten.

I read that warriors are better tanks than paladins, but I also read that paladins can block and warriors can't. Can paladins block like in TERA, or Fiona from Vindictus, or is itan ability. Class with most AOEs attacks?

There is no active blocking mechanic like tera. thm/blm have the best aoe in terms of damage.

and the story was ok, i mainly wanted revenge for the murdering of the poor plant. Its just that there is 1 real story progression and then 10 useless "mainquests" where you fetch someone water or cook a fucking soup.

I've found lately it's hard for me to actually get into MMOs. I spent 60 dollars on GW2, played for a single day (mostly just character creation), got bored of it and never touched it again. Hopefully this time will be different ^^

End game is pretty fun until you get to turn 5 on coil where everyone is stuck because of a gearcheck on tank hp.

GW2 is a terrible MMO, this is not.
