Not as awesomesauce as the M107/AS50, but it's def. up there in quality

* There were 2 tents set up in Berezino with moderate loot in (AKM/Blood Bags etc), and after the sudden rush of 'Ooo, a Tent. I wonder what it has in it' subsided, I started wondering if I missed some sort of trap, but it didn't seem to be in a sniper friendly position. Wierd.

Sigh Have you tried downloading them directly and manually unpacking them into the folder? Then try using SixLauncher/SixUpdater to patch. Either steam or retail installation: http://www.dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2085 SixLauncher: http://www.six-updater.net/

Some tips for new players since I don't consider myself wet behind the ears totally anymore. MAP: http://dayzdb.com/map#3.134.067 -Finding a Gun- Which is like the most frustrating thing at first starting out. Cherno and Elektro just respawn until your close to one of those places and hit the residential buildings. -Zombies- I'm still trying to figure these guys out but find a building with a entrance and a exit and run through then crouch walk and go hard left or right once your through the other side. Listen and look to see if they are still aggro'd sometimes you lose them sometimes you have to repeat. Which is why starting out near Cherno and Elektro is good. Also churches are safe just run inside toward the altar and the Zombies go full retard and turn around eventually. -Food/Water- SuperMarket! Stock up on these over ammo if you dont have a gun. -Ammo- Don't just take ammo rounds for guns you don't have. Like M16 or MP5 the chances of you finding those in a non military area is kind of slim. Makarov is ok to pick up a few, Lee Enfield, remington, winchester. Those are what I like to think of as the Residential Guns. The guns you could see being in a city. Usually I just wait till I find a gun before stocking ammo. -Death Traps- There are certain Cities/Spots where the Veteran Players like to camp and take out people running around. NW Airfield is probably #1 for having a sniper there cause the gear is really good there. Elektro & Cherno usually the most populated spots for players avoid going on rooftops if you can unless you have a sniper rifle and but there is probably someone out in the forest already looking at you to take you out. Did I mention NW Airfield? Yeaaa. I recommend only going with Backup and Decently Geared. If your looking for excitement then yea go there. If you survive and your looking to get more military style gear then its worth it. Its just dangerous

There are more than just TLers on this server.
