This was one of my earlier days..tried switching weapons after spending 20+ mins scouting and figuring the best route out. However, i switched weapons on my way down the pipes. (ladder basically) Fell, unconscious, 2 zombies killed me at the bottom (damn trees, really thought i'd be safe xD) Biggest "FML" ever. | ||

Not sure where to go next if I should hit up Novy or not. Wanted to check other airfield thought I was headed in the right direction until I realized I was going opposite way. Now I'm back on track but that other airfield is still really far. Not sure if I want to head back toward the cost and main cities yet. Would like a sniper rifle even a CZ would do for me but from what I can tell the spawns or low even though they can spawn in farms. I know the good stuff is on the crash sites but I have no clue where they spawn at. | ||

Started off probably dying about 15 times, best thing I found was a hatchet. On the 16th time, I managed to find a double barrel shotgun and actually found my location on the map. Decide to head up to one of the castles, five minutes in passing one of the very small villages I get shot by someone. He gets taken down by about 5 zombies, i'm still alive but crawling about 200 meters to get to his body and die just before I get to him. Spawn again, luckily this time i've finally figured out the map and realise it's a quick journey to our two bodies. Get there and he has a AK47 with ammo, revolver with ammo, loads of bandages and painkillers, compass, map, binoculars, morphine auto injector, bag of blood. Couldn't believe my luck. Now I have my bearings, i'm checking the map to see fun things to do. First thing I check out Zeds castle, bit boring but I move on and decide to go to the International Airport. Head inside, first hanger and get attacked by about 20 zombies, manage to survive and decide to get out of there and head to some other castle further north. Running away from the airport I decide to hug the trees, at this point I hadn't seen anyone for about an hour, including in the airport and I was getting a bit worried. A minute in my leg breaks and I can't move, turn around and theres a guy with a gilly suit and a sniper rifle that I have literally just ran into. I managed to get a load of ak47 rounds off into him and he dies, along with me. Haven't brought myself to playing again, can't imagine how much time it's going to take to get all that gear back and that location! | ||

I was playing with 2 friends of mine and at the beginning, we were pretty much playing a 3rd person-whatever game, but after a few deaths around the main cities, we decided to step our game up a bit. We created a set in stone triangle formation, which we would not break at any give time, and gave each one of us a certain task during our travels, so every angle around us would be covered. Each time we encountered something interesting, we would spread out and have 2 cover the one who carefully approached the target. One directly covered the scout and the third one of us fell back to scout for incoming targets etc. Now that was fun. Not only did we survive a few days straight, we also managed to kill many others, who tried to ambush/attack us. and of course got big time loot from all around the northern parts of the map. We died after getting too cocky and risky though as we ran out of morphine. Better be more careful next time :-) | ||

Rule #... 1. Don't trust anyone. Ever. 2. Don't get attached to your gear. You ARE going to lose it. That's how the game is built. Accept it. 3. Never leave all your shit in 1 place. 4. Always have a backup plan in case shit goes pear-shaped (horribly wrong). 5. Always have good comms up. Bad/No comms = friendly fire/possible casualties. There are more, but those are the top 5. | ||

I still have no sidearm and I'm stuck with the 8 slot shitty starter pack, but otherwise I've had a good run today. I'll probably hit the hospital when I get home. Also some friendlies will hopefully be around who I can join up with. | ||

' Honestly those items arent that hard to get and I'm no vet at the game. You might not get exactly the same weapon or side arm but it doesnt take long to get those. The other items are pretty common maybe save for the Map and compass | ||
