I believe there was a glitch that didn't allow animals to spawn their meat after gutting them. I've had trouble recently, and almost died a few times because of it. The only options after I gut animals now are study and hide body. When the gear option isn't available I study body and I can loot shortly after, I never had an animal I couldn't loot at all, I just waited more or less long. | ||

That being said, if you read most of the thread, there are a lot of people that are reacting badly to Defcon. However, the company owner makes a point: They've been around for roughly 10 years and are going to have more recorded issues than one thats been around for 1 or 2. There's also a few posts in the thread explaining their servers were setup correctly and haven't had any issues at all with the company.Either way, it might be best to avoid Defcon to be safe. If you do decide to go with them, make sure you understand they only allow 40+ slots on their servers. You can not go under 40, and this misunderstanding seems to be where their entire line of issues started anyway. However, it seems if you do get your server setup correctly, the servers are reliable and stable according to the Defcon positive posts in that thread. | ||

Other than that and the time everyone in the server died to some scripter I've enjoyed this game a lot. Wouldn't mind some tips for good/safe ways to head north. | ||

I've had more than a few chance encounters in remote wooded locations, however unlikely they are, they do happen. It sounds like you have a pretty good idea how to start traveling north, just stick to treelines, keep your head on a swivel, and if you really don't want to have any chance encounters (due to not being geared enough, or whatever other reason) then make sure you avoid the woods and fields north of Vyshnoye and south of Stary/Novy Sobor. | ||

on a side note, p4NDemik i have an extra DMR now if u want it and if ur close to elektro  Ive been killing some people that want to snipe at dobry hill so got one extra y'day and stashed it in my tent. Altho it sucks I have so many stuff to do today so im prolly not playing and tomorrow i leave for vacation till the 13th. So if you die or something again on the 13th i could give you that spare one if its still there :/ | ||

I think the only point you proved was you can't be trusted. If your roommates play with you again, expect them to kill you once you actually get something you really want. You definitely broke the trust that's required to play as a group in this game which means you can't trust them either. | ||

Play to have fun or don't play. I don't know, I think this post furthers the point that you can't be trusted. In a real-life scenario you were the one who flew off the handle and he was the one being reasonable as you were being split up in a situation where getting picked off because you're lagging behind is a frequent occurance, especially north of Cherno. If you did shoot someone who was saying "stop getting split from the group" even if it was in a super douchey way, I'd imagine your group would leave you or kill you the next opportunity that presented itself. Sure, it's a video game. However, in general complaining is a much smaller offense than random aggressive acts against the people you're around because you felt disgruntled. What if he had shot you the minute you caught up with the group instead of complaining about you lagging behind? It's probably fun for him to play with someone who isn't constantly checking their inventory just like it's fun for you to put your roommates "6 feet under". Point is, be it a game or not, it's a stressful environment. If stressed out people annoy you, I don't recommend playing with a group in this game. | ||
