I have been visiting TL almost daily since it started, but this account is only 3 or 4 years old and has a low post count. First DayZ play: Went to two deer huts and Rog castle ... found 3 types of ammo and no gun, buncha trash and flares. Then from a zombie run crosscountry, thought I had lost him to fall prone but found and killed. So first run was over 2 hours, zero weapons found, though I successfully ate beans and drank soda. Fast forward to charging "sniper tower" with a hatchet. Got the sniper's guided tour to Cherno (Wrong tower dude! I mean the other tall one with a bunch of dead bodies on the top!) from some helpful folks in TL TeamSpeak. Survived a sniper's bullet on the way up top ... but met a current occupant waiting for me at the top of the ladder. He sadly was spared the hatchet of reckoning with a shot from his rifle. First trip to cherno, about 20 minutes in the outlying streets and another 10 minutes in the city's center. Kill count of the sniper squad: Roughly 5, for 2 losses. | ||

We are not verbal instruction manuals some questions can be answered with a simple search like whats the tallest mountain in the game. There are alot of fucking mountains in the game how the hell am I suppose to know and do I care if I am headed to balota wtf!!! /rant  yea if your playing you can join with us, we aren't going to take you to our camp sorry, we aren't going to give you a AS50 from our camp, we will play with you and answer your questions no problem but if somebody dies or we are trying to find someone shooting at us please let us do our work. Our conversations are pretty light hearted and we joke around and have a good time but stop using your loud ass DMR to kill zombies if we are near the coast line if some one has a silent gun let them take out zombies. | ||

I'm in luck as he moves towards a village crouching and circling into cover, he must have thought that was where the shot came from. I crawled out of my bush when I lost sight of him and after a tense minute or so see him retreating up a hill pursued by two zombies. He drops one with a pistol as the second looks to get a hit on him. I crouch from prone and zoom in with the M4 as the last zombie goes down I fire once and he drops prone and returns fire blindly as nothing comes near me. Another shot and he stops shooting and I guess bandages himself then begins to crawl off. I continue to pepper shots until I lose him and resume my hiding. When the murder appears in my stats I begin excitedly guiding my friend to my position and start searching for the corpse. By the time my friend arrives I have found the body and we loot a silenced 9mm and ammo, survival gear, M14 and ammo, map, compass, watch, toolbox etc. Greatest start ever, sadly we were ambushed and both gunned down in the woods outside Cherno less than an hour later. Karma is a bitch but man alive that was the most exciting moment I've had in Day Z or any other FPS to date! | ||

Is current TL server changed from 1337 --> 382? I'd be interested in playing with TL players, at least knowing I have a lower chance of being shot. | ||

Also some of the servers you might have been on yesterday showing 1.7.2.4 yesterday might show 1.7.2.3 those servers are still on 1.7.2.4 its just something up with GameSpy and there crappy servers. Game Spy always had crappy servers even when I was playing COH | ||

Just found a boss server though using six launcher. Loads SOOO fast and i got great fps and had a nice shoot out 2 min after i logged on.Think i found my new home. Also any one else getting owned by the graphics glitch? cant see shit -_- | ||
