I lost count as to how many rounds I put out to deal with zombies in chern last night just hitting up the hospital for meds. | ||

(even using the maps) Try to practice avoiding zombies. Try figuring out their sight & hearing ranges, And you'll discover that zombies are relatively easy to avoid. Then using an internet map, try to find an isolated barn, or deer stand. Just approach the target location, stop for a bit, figure out the zombies' paths and try to sneak between them. From my personal experience, most of the zombies tend to walk away from the target location, especially around isolated places. Barns are a bit more difficult to enter because avoiding zombies can take a long time, especially if some of them are inside the barn. If you're lucky you'll find a weapon and / or an axe. Don't forget that zombies have to stop and walk in order to climb the barn stairs, so if you still manage to aggro zombies, you can eliminate them rather easily. Deer stands are rather easy to sneak to. You must have noticed that deer stands are halfway between the woods and the open field. From personal experience, zombies tend to walk away from the stands towards the fields, in the opposite direction of the woods. Usually I approach the deer stand from the woods, by then the zombies are at safe distance in open field. Once you get some experience at avoiding zombies you should try to go to supermarkets, generally you can find guns, ammos, food, drinks. Also do'nt forget that zombies run at very high speed, and can die from falling. If you aggro them try to find a steep spot try running down it, if it's steep enough the zombies will stumble and die. | ||

(even using the maps) try a different server, just in case its that. Zombies shouldn't aggro that hard, just stay slow whenever you see one, and go round the long way if you need to. If you get spotted, just sprint towards the nearest enterable buildings. | ||

(even using the maps) Rocket has said that he'd fix zombies after dealing with the loading/waiting for character/desync issues so I'm sure it will get closer to what it was before the patch. Right now it's pretty stupid, managable but still stupid and I think anyone that says otherwise is talking about pre 1.7.2. | ||

At least one of the places should have a 1866/doublebarreled/enfield/CZ550 (though I only managed to find the sniper once, sadly). Guns.. I dunno tbh. I usually find a makorov here and there or a revolver in an outside toilet. Ive actually never stumpled upon a 1911 or an M9. Also a general question about deerstands. Ive found a Glock 17 but never a rifle in one of these. I never run around the 4 at Balota because of the popularity of the place/dont wanna get shot. But running around Bor hitting the ones there... Is it worth it? | ||
