I normally start with some infantry, then get a mortar or machine gun crew depending. But after a few minutes, ze Germans come with 3-4 tanks, put some gun emplacements and that's it. Any tips? Btw,I'm playing 3v3, 4v4 I play soviet only. I dont have issues winning. In fact, ive on 9 of my last 10. (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) (both with good allies, and terrible ones) What i do is: go cap stuff with engi. Make 2 conscripts. Get molotovs. Get 1 more conscript as the engi returns home to make the support weapons building. Get 1-2 AT guns. Use conscripts speed boost to get up close and throw molotovs and whatnot. Prob make a 4th conscript, and get the AT grenade. Sometimes ill get a HMG, but meh. Make AT guns and mortars as needed. Normally yous hould be able to take enemy mortars from them just fine with conscripts and a lil bit of luck. Utilize your ammunition for the Light Artillery Barrage on your AT guns. Make a bunch of sand bags // drop mines etc. Pick the commander that lets conscripts repair. Save up till your lvl 5, spam a bunch of ISU152. Keep using your conscripts to repair/reinforce your more important units (AT guns, stolen mortars, stolen HMG) Keep ISU152 off in the distance, they wreck any other tank and shoot farther than any other tank -- but keep them safe with coverage from mines/AT guns. Use the lvl 6 bombardment on panthers or elefants, i guess :p Win the game. GG.

Yeah there's been games where one team or the other completely outclasses and you have to surrender with like 300 points remaining because every point is being lost. Still fun though :D

Well I guess I'll have to get used to it. Looks pretty nice apart from that.

I think more will play after it releases. I know it sounds weird but what the MM says are searching vs. the CoH1 vets alone doesn't make sense. I like how it forces you to spread out over the map vs. just a moving each other.

I personally thought it was "unresponsive" but as i played it more, it seemed more "realistic" because your sending orders from the commander to the platoon, it takes time ^.^

USE all your ammunition early. You have a huge advantage over the germans until they get set up with the heavy tanks and securely with mortars/HMGs. You NEED to press the early # advantage and take good positions, steal their guns (to save you $) and keep reinforcing/repairing them so you have a nice bank to make ISU-152 or w/e ^.^ And AT grenades are OP. They destroy SOMETHING on the vehicle every throw.

Get an incendiary armor piercing round with veteran and a much wider cone of fire. Can just roll snipers + conscripts in the early game to keep him pinned back.

YOu just have to USE those early 6-unit squads to get speed boost/molotovs. Trade blow for blow and get lucky. You have less to lose.

Losing the 1 vehicle to stop that offensive, in some cases, saves you 2-4 units that might be maneuvered around

The units do what you tell them but its as if they first have to realise what you actually said to them and then they do it. From the 2-3 games in Beta i played nothing made me "wait it out" until it will feel "natural".
