Well, it's a different game, what did you expect? Controlling less than a dozen untis at a time obviously is going to be slower paced.

Do panzerschrecks actually get dropped? I don't recall them being lootable, although at that point they might have just gotten blown up.

I stole a tank last night, actually. Twas a stug. Almost had it repaired before it got blown up though. Mostly due to someone lagging right before then and couldnt micro

Is it normal that I frequently get kicked out of a game (in fact, it counts as a loss) due to "your connection to Steam has been lost"? Suspiciously, this happens a lot when I'm winning, and I can guarantee that it's not my internet connection. Probably just some bug, but quite annoying none the less -.-

CoH2 is still using the peer to peer bullshit that has been in every other relic game in the past years. Connections being terrible is standard.

Anti-Tank grenades and Panzerfaust:
- Range reduced from 20 to 15.

Veterancy Change:
- Rates changed from 50%/50% (Damage applied / received damage) to 75%/25%.

Upkeep:
- Rate changed from 4 upkeep per pop to 1.5.
- Upkeep thresholds removed.
Riegel 43 Anti-tank Mine

- Reduced the time to plant the mine from 12 to 6 seconds
- Changed the ability to allow it to be targeted in the fog of war.
- Removed the cooldown.

panther is cheaper and faster for a slight range decrease and slight health and armor nerf (and just the rear armor at that, which doesnt matter cuz its a fucking race car)

IS-2 gets an armor nerf, a massive cost nerf (+120 mp + 90 fuel, that's HUGE), shoots slower, only slightly more accurate, slightly faster, and can occasionally stun now, but even the tiger is less expensive and far stronger

panzer ivs are cheap as shit now
t34s are more expensive (fuel wise)
mg42s are even more hard to not get pinned in
the one half decent soviet anti tank costs even more fuel to get out

Ive been playing the open beta for a bit but honestly outside of a few graphics and now the ability to steal destroyed cars and tanks i dont see much of what theyve added. And to the guy above me looks like youll have to invest more into the 360man power at guns as mother russia since apparently relic doesnt want us to use t34/76 to kill tanks.
Limited Edition, lets do some simple addition, $50 for a T-Shirt is just some ignorant bitch shit.

Soviet heavies actually fire HE rounds now. The implications of this are hard to speculate about, but it was almost definitely a buff even after the price increase.

The ISU152 is pretty good. The IS2 is utter shit because the kv8 is OP.

The range nerf on panzer is very significant. Now the typical soviet AT outranges it.

I just don't understand how you are suppose to deal with the Germans late game now, I mean the ISU costs 290 gas (I think) which is just fucking insane. I guess Relic don't want Soviet to use tanks.

You don't. If germans ever get tanks you're pretty fucked unless you have more than a 2 to 1 advantage. Of course they'll always say "just ram the panther then it's worthless!" yeah so is my tank. And that's assuming my tank makes it to your panther before your other tanks/mg/at stop it. The issue with the panther is how good it is at killing it's counter AND destroying infantry. You can get it to vet 3 ridiculously fast just rolling it around killing infantry. Compare that to an SU85 which is fucking horrendous at killing infantry. Put 1 panther against 1 team AT weapon and the panther wins. Put 2 su85 against the same weapon, and the SU85's get annihilated.

Viewing units in isolation is your problem. Almost all of the soviet weapons are dual purpose and truly shine in combined arms situations. The T34/85 annihilates infantry after the patch to increase accuracy; try comparing that one to the panther.
