Same =\ Though Wedding Characters are similar so I can't be too surprised.

- Theres no pause for dungeon's mid-battle? Feels pretty harsh with the 30 sec turn timer for a "single-player" game. Would be fine if it blanked the screen or something.
- Windows size is horrendously small on a 24" 1920x1080...
Also I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of cards and to a lesser note the lab options etc, need to find some starter walkthrough that helps me with what cards to get inititally.
And something else but getting hungry now and my thought process isn't working, I'l edit once I remember what.
-Not sure if pause is needed, once you start grinding you'll be wishing the game went faster.
-The window is extremely small yes, this is something the US developers have mentioned that they want to work on. When you know all the cards by their art it's not a big deal, but you may want to use a zoom addon or just a second monitor with increased resolution until then.

Just seems annoying getting a default loss vs AI when I have to go afk, vs players I can understand no pause.
And from a beginner (Crux) pov it looks like mixing decks is a bad idea due to the various buffs limited to your own faction, right? Maybe exception being if you "accidently" get a really good other faction card from somewhere else. I guess picking some spells from other factions might be a good idea though.
Also should I start doing ladder and the PvP quick matches right away although I've only cleared the beginner dungeon? Or will I get faced against people with a lot better decks and destroyed without a chance.
Any tips/links considering what cards to invest in at start and which parts of the game (dungeon/ladder etc) to focus in are appreciated. Amount of things just feels a bit overwhelming, I did finish the initial beginner quests that were quick to do which introduced lab etc and read the game guide.

Having a few spells like Shrink helps a lot against the stronger NPCs when added to a beginner deck. My PvE deck atm is completely single-faction though.
PvP matches people up based on deck points and wins, you never really "have" to pvp though.
So with Crux you just buff your followers and win. Don't get all the cards I list, they're just suggestions.
Spells: - Education Results - Meadow Leisure - Proof of Miracles - Warrior's Resolve - Chrono Clock - Beach Research* - Vivid World of Kana*
Followers: - Marksman Knight - Knight Prea - Seeker Luthera - Seeker Lucia
*these are rares i.e. harder to make
When farming the materials you can just do the first few levels of one dungeon, then switch over to another when it gets too hard. The best rewards come from completing dungeons though, especially the oh-so-precious accessories.

Same a bit depressed i didn't score higher
The real outstanding deck this round was clearly wind's
Tbh i had 2 losses to disconnect and 1 loss to AFK (both which i would have won easily im sure) - the gap between top 30 and top 5 is absolutely tiny and i could have made it easily with a bit more luck and coin lady
Next round i might run a troll deck to snipe top players (loads of counterspells and balance, NTB, KL etc.etc. trololo)

Thank you, that worked out pretty well for me. Made couple Chrono Clock's and Education Results and one of each Marksman Knight/Knight Prea and Seeker Luthera.
Think I'l sort out the mats for Crux Nemesis Luthica now to get the beginner quest (make a lvl 3 rare card) done, easy mats to make her.
Also can't I seriously see how many of the required items I have at hand when crafting? Other than going all the way to deck or something that is. Interface could use some work, otherwise a neat little game.
Quite like the snowballing as well.

Tried this game a bit and have few questions.
Not sure where to spend tokens, or is it better to save them for later stages. Questing seems the way to go, now working on 10 wins in starter dungeon with academy. Can't find place to farm Ruin Fragments it's pretty annoying as it's needed for majority of follower cards.

Ruin Fragments come from the Frontier Ruins dungeon, you may not be able to complete it, but you can probably at least get to floor ~20 or so. All of the dungeons beyond Hard drop 1 dungeon mat per floor.
Best way to spend tokens in terms of efficiency is the Bronze boosters at the end of every battle, 2tk per accessory is very efficient. But, you may want to buy a bunch of packs to jumpstart your deck, it's not a terrible investment either. Which episode you buy probably depends on your chosen faction, but you're guaranteed to get cards you can use to at least craft towards your target card. ep3-4 in general I feel give the most value.

I guess I should've said Advanced, not Hard. But Hard dungeons do drop mats.

Oh a lot of people can't find it, there's a second page in the "Normal" tab.

orz seems like a bot when i play him in fight. He doesn't try at all to avoid swaps, and sometimes plays 2 or 3 d. rare spells in the same turn that have redundant effects. He also plays his hand incredibly quickly, and continues playing fight with me even after ten games with exactly the same playstyle. The funny thing is he's still able to beat me half the time because he has so many rares.

So I crafted LightSeeker Sita uhhh how would you build a deck around that?
So you would put darklore followers to damage/soak up damage, then remove from game with her ability to do damage and prevent damage?

Remove me from the user list. No longer playing anymore

I swear the hardest thing about this game is setting total sound to 0%, is there soem advanced techniques or some simple trick for that?
Also god I hate when I get snowballing going and enemy pulls a card that ninjas all the stats fml.
Ignoring that is it a viable tactic at all as a Crux to just stack high size followers and spell cards? Tempted to give it a shot as the size 1/2 seem pretty much useless for me.

Crux has some options to reduce the size of followers so it is possible to build around large sized followers. For PvE, Kana decks have always been pretty strong. For PvP it really depends on what range of dp you're playing at, but this strategy starts to struggle against the stronger debuffs and removals of multiple rares and d.rares in a single deck.

I'm playing Crux and the boss in the first dungeon just rapes me 25-0. He has followers that are 8/1/11 which seem crazy to me. I'm guessing its supposed to be easy since he is the first boss but I just cant win.
EDIT: Made some new cards and rolled through him
