So, when you don't make a good investment into INT, you shouldn't rely on damage from spells. Gotcha.
15 INT isn't anything, especially at that point in the game. The sorcerer class starts with 15 INT from get-go, and there's a few more that start with close to 15. You should have just upgraded a pyro glove, and possibly put some points into ATT instead.

We are trying to help you, dude. I'm telling you that 15 INT is not a significant investment into INT, it's not even a good investment. That's why you're not getting the damage you want. Plus, you're not even using any of the Heavy Soul Arrows/Soul Spear/Crystal Soul Spear, which are the heavy damage dealing sorceries.
If you're mad/expecting us to sympathize with you for wasting 60k souls, then I'm sorry. I've lost 99 humanity + 5 million souls before. It happens. You're either going to have to pump more points into INT to get the damage/spells you want, or better yet, use a pyro glove.

Yeah. I know. I now realize I wont be able to use damage from sorceries. Miracles on the other hand might have been a better idea. The heal is acceptable. Or the force spells to knock people off ledges.
Maybe I will find a use for these spells anyway. Who knows. I still got a long way to go.

I wouldn't be bothered too much with having put some points in a stat that turned out to be disappointing. Weapon upgrades and skill matter a lot more than stats in this game.
Then again, I haven't really played much after having defeated O&S because the game clearly took a nosedive in terms of level design from that point onward, using rather cheap mechanics to make the game more difficult.

I know people have said this a few times already but if you want damage without point investment just go pyromancy. Its specifically made as spells for non casters

So first you whine about magic after giving it barely any thought, on a character not suited for magic in the first place, then you produce a couple more posts on the subject in the same manner and jump on people for calling you out on it.
Yup, sounds like you're a little fucker jumping on people pointing out you might not be correct and being bitch. I might've been a bit out of the line with my first post but you just went out there like a classic asshole.

Pyromancy is more what you're looking for, doesn't require a lot of investment (other than souls for upgrading your glove if you want, but I didn't find that necessary at all) and does quite a bit of damage. You can even join the chaos covenant and get the chaos fireball for basically free, which is a fantastic pyromancy spell. I personally never liked using magic in these games either, more of a melee type of guy, but having some type of ranged capability (via pyromancy in this game for example) is always nice.
I have seen what the later game spells can do for you though, like the dark spells that you can obtain from the DLC area (Oolacile?). In demon's souls getting weapon buffs like light weapon was also super helpful, don't know if that's the case in this game though. I think I only messed around with the basic shield buff once or twice.

Last time I left off was when I and Zwei+10 became BFFs and I decided to become a pancake maker in Dark Souls. SnakeBros don't really like to keep their shields up so my career choice turned out to be the right one. Sen's Fortress flew by quickly as I gained more and more experience with the german pancake maker. I was actually disappointed by it's length. I thought it would be longer/larger, although the swinging blades and falling rocks were pretty fun to bypass. Near the top of the fortress I met a respawnable berendike knight and 2 balders guarding a ring. I farmed them for about an hour or 2. Much titanite was obtainted there. Both normal and large. Also I squeezed out the full Beredike armor set (save the Shield) from that lone respawnable berendike. So what if I can't parry? Or even backstab? Zwei does not discriminate. All shall become pancake before him.
Before taking on that big thing on the other side of the fog wall that looked mighty intimidating, I went back to Andre and got more weapon upgrades. Like people stated above, weapon upgrades make all the difference. Weapon scaling is only icing on the top. Balder SS+10, Zwei+10, Halberd+10, Balder Shield+5, Grass Crest+5, Claymore+6, Longsword+6 ... for now
I knew I had problems will bosses before, so I turned human and recruited the help of one Iron Tarkus, who at the time, I did not know was John Cena in disguise. Turned out The Champ promptly solo'd the Iron Golem after the iron golem hit him once making him change stances from sword/board to 2Handed. Easy 40K souls.
Apparently I wasn't the only spectator of this fight because right after it was done an empty super-sized bag of popcorn fell on my head and about 4-5 bleached batthings came from the sky, started screeching and lifted my hands up in the air as if awarding me the Heavy-weight Champion belt of Lordran. Needless to say I was a bit flabbergasted while John Cena Tarkus looked a bit pissed.
I was thinking they'd drop me from very high up and eat the mangled remains of my corpse but apparently they had other plans. They took me up to Anor Londo. A beautiful landscape surrounded me and I was in awe. But I instinctively knew that as much as this land was beautiful, it must be dangerous. After all, it was the land of Milk Juggs Gwynevere, Gwyn and Gwyndolin. While slowly descending the steppes and admiring the view I noticed a big golem with a halberd and a shield. I stopped dead in my tracks. Fucking thing was HUGE and intimidating. And I knew it was after my Heavy-weight Champion belt. And it would get a piece of the Champ later on, but first thing first - bonfire. I slowly walked around the HalberdBro with my shield raised, ready to dodge his first attack and run away like a little shit right after but he seemed content to wait for the Champ to issue the challenge first.
I found the bonfire soon thereafter with actually a talkative, non-cinic NPC near it, which I greatly appreciated. The bonfire was also +10, score! With my sexy ghoul ass safe it was time for HalberdBros to know who they were fucking with. As I slowly inched my way to the one that scared me shitless first, I taunted him. BIG MISTAKE. All 3 lunged at me and I ran away as far as my 30 endurance would take me. Champ does not enjoy gangbangs, unless they are in his favor.
I proceeded to do the same thing, except without the taunt this time. I got real close this time and swung Zwei and what happened? LOLBLOCK. Fucking shield covering 70% of him. After kiting him abit and seeing his moveset, drinking 4 estus flasks I decided that zwei would probably be a bad idea. I switched to Halberd to proceeded to work on my first Sentinel.
The fight was, at best rage inducing. Hit Boxes are apparently very small in this game. If I focused on the sentinel, and actually got behind him after shield slam, the halberd would poke between his legs and hit nothing. The heavy attacks (sweeping attacks) would hit of course, but the animation was too long for my liking and didn't do enough damage to justify it. Also with heavy armor rolling away from a counter wasn't an option, let alone his 1-2 sweeps. I once again took off the heavy armor, put on the crimson robe+leggins to get 25% rolls and took out the balder SS. I decided that the shield would be useless because even if I could block 1-2 hits from the sentinel, the 3rd would break my guard and leave me without endurance at all. So I 2-handed the swagsword. It turned out pretty well, the thrusts connected as they should've and the regular sweeps weren't bad at all damage-wise. After about 1 full run (6 sents) I went back to 2handing Zwei and forcing out errors from the sentinels themselves. This turned about a 1 minute sentinel kill with circle strafing into an 30s zwei kill.
1 heavy 2handed attack from zwei would stagger them, and a quick light attack follow up would generally finish them before their shields came back into play.
I proceeded onto the elevator thingy, did my sexy dance on the catwalk, cheese'd a gargoyle with a bow to get the Halberd and proceeded onwards. Batthings weren't happy to see get this far but I dealt with them. Zwei was initailly too slow and they easily dodged it, but after getting their attacks repelled by a shield they were stunned long enough for 1handed zwei to make pancakes out of them. The bow silverknights were a bit of a surprise but I ran up fearlessly up the arch thing with my shield up (fearlessly because at this point I didn't have any estus flasks left) and poked 1 of them off the building. It turned out to be lucky that I chose right instead of left. As I traversed the fog wall behind the silver knight that promptly fell off the wall, I couldn't take it anymore. I was out of estus, out of life and I wanted a break. But most of all I wanted to keep my championship belt. I went on youtube and checked where the fucking 2nd bonfire was. Turned out to be on the very door to my left lol.
I was now in an area with respawnable Silver Knights. Douchecanoes with long spears. But you know what has a longer range than that spear? Uh-huh, you guessed it. Pancake maker. + Show Spoiler +( I fully know this is only because they have a low aggro range...)
2 things: I was pumping all my stats into vitality and endurance getting them both to 30, but this left me with 26 str and 16 dex. Having dex so low is a pain as many weapons now require above 20/22 dex. So now I'm faring the 6 sentinels from the 1st bonfire to pump up my dexterity. 9K souls per run is decent.
Another thing - I was thinking about going back to Lordran to get the fog ring and ninja flip ring. But I think I won't do that solely because covenants don't interest me in this playthrough and the ninja-flip ring seems like a really cheap cheat.

You got through Sen's Fortress and (most of) Anor Londo on your first try? Nice job.
That Zwei should carry you through the game as long as you get it to +15, so I wouldn't worry about being able to use a whole bunch of weapons, unless you're just collecting/upgrading them for the hell of it.

That was a damn funny write-up. Now bring on the user stream! Looking forward to seeing/hearing more. Sentinels are jerks but they're pretty slow, and their shield protects a gigantic area so you have to make it all the way to their side or back and chip away at their legs.

You should totally get the flip ring, it's the best thing ever! Once I tried it on I couldn't force myself to take it off, it's that awesome!
