I must admit that recently I got totally bored with laddering and wanted to entertain myself a bit. I've created account pL.Manit0u (pL. standing for Professional Laming Association)
and started to ladder in a very specific way. I played each race until first win or if I lost first or even second game I played until I got 50% stats with this race and then switching to another race in order of appearance 
What's unusual in this is that I promised myself never to use a strategy I have used before with this race what meant a lot of improvisation and many cheese strats but I really enjoyed that.
Here are some of my todays achievements for the interested (perhaps someone will improve some of those strats and use them in the future):

Ok, I did the hum part. After losing 0-3 when testing crazy shit (and discovering that tinker isn't a good hero for human, especially as first choice vs undead) I decided to make it the day of the MK and winning consequently 3-0 with solo MK

rif/caster and knight/caster are most standard human strategies. Pure casters are used too, especialy against orc.

the replay section is all a piece of shit now because its effectively become just a place for people to host their own replays, instead of sharing more like the report section

Well, you could always try to be diplomatic this one more time. I'm a reasonable person and if you pointed out the good arguments the thing would've been dealt with in 2 posts of polite conversation instead of 14 posts of random flaming and craptalk btw. why br.com doesn't have the replay analysing machine like replayers.com for instance? You know, so you don't have to fill out the duration/players/map/version etc. fields?

JV doesn't really care enough to update it, the replay section was just supposed to be a handy little addition to the site for reporters to upload the replay of the game they were reporting. but again, the section has gone so down hill that JV really doesn't want to bother updating it, and instead will just have it removed all together when the site is remade.

Oh, I thought the rules said you just shouldn't spam it? I've used it to upload reps every now and then but hm, didn't know it was supposed to be used only for ..? I assume good replays? Or replays of games you post in your battlereport?

www.wcreplays.com is a nice place to host War3 replays in my experience. They have a built in W3Gmaster type thing that gets stats like hero levels. 19/20 member (public) replays uploaded don't have descriptions or anything and no one has a problem with it.

br.com has an amazing history of great old replays... I hope they atleast keep those.. like all the way up until 2002.

Heh, today I came to some idea I've never tried before. I randomed and got UD vs NE on Turtle Rock (which is basically autoloss for undead). First I tried some ghoul/garging but one of the worst nightmares in this case came to living, my oponent went for Panda as his second hero choice. I thought it was all over when Panda obliterated my army in 2 seconds but then the light shined in my head: if NE goes mass expansion vs everything then why the hell UD shouldn't go mass expansion vs NE? (in most pro reps I've seen UD lost due to lack of expansion)

Ok, WaweR decided to join the club too and test some of the 1.19 stuff
His first lame game was on new echo isles. It was orc vs human, WaweR decided to go ultimate cheese and went for fast tower rush (no rax at all) with FL as his first and only hero choice. Imagine his surprise when he was walking towards hum base with FL + peons and half the way he met AM + a couple of footies and some peasants ^_^ There's been some both sided peasant/peon killing, WaweR gaining the upper hand when he managed to kill AM but was forced to retreat soon after. From now on the game starts. Hum goes into WaweR's base and starts building towers. WaweR already has a fair number of towers of his own in the main so he's secure for a while. Human placing towers and laying pressure on WaweR with his AM + rifles gets tense. This is when WaweR places 2 proxy rax from which he starts off hh production (his first units in this game) and sends 4 peons to put towers under human main. Who will win this tower wars? See for yourself

Out of boredom me and a friend of mine did a hu/hu combo in AT. Afther teching quickly we both build 3 arcane vaults and filled up our heroes with 18 towers combined and owned the shit out of them No rep tho ;( forgot to save. Fun tactics ftw!

Since you use skull to put out blight you have a nice harasspoint as soon as you get up a few towers.

I have a friend who does it all the time vs orc. Now granted probably neither him nor his opponant are great by any means but its usually funny to see that dead tower rush.

I tried RoC for a while and me and a friend who had comp in same room made a cheesing team. His name was Cheddar and I was Gorgonzolla lol. Needless to say our cheese tactics were expected most of the time.

Too bad theres no fresh replays of that... I could do it in like 10games in a row an probably pull it off but I'm soo bad that it would not be good to post it since the opponent would suck even harder. I could ask a friend to kick me with it but then it'll be staged.
I just have to pracc a 100games or so to get in shape I guess.

Hmmm... I remember that there were threads on TL.net (sc related i guess) where people argued if high apm = greater chance for win. Now I can surely say it's not true. I played some guy on ladder not long ago, we were both human, it was quite early in the morning and I've had quite a hangover (I hate hangovers). In this particular game my enemy had ~180apm while I had <100 (yeah, it sux), nevertheless I kicked his ass quite badly. So now I can only say that brain and experience >>>> apm.

APM doesn't really matter no... i beat some guy with like 107 APM while he had 180+, human mirror (we were both random) you'd think that even though you'd think he could click faster thus more micro, which is really needed in a huvshu would make him win... but nah... strategy > (knights owned him, then we he got gryphs, rifles do just fine vs them 4 gryphons will lose to 4 riflemen surprisingly ;P )

i used to go solo Blademaster, tech to tier 3 and just harrass with windwalk and stuff... try and stack him with bought stuff like circlets/perpiat of vit... then eventually i'd look and go "oh... 3000 gold" and mass tauren or something :/

See what happens when a warden takes on 2 NE heroes and a whole NE army!

I am a low average ud player. This race is cool to my mind but i think it lacks of cheesy style ^^
So i was thinking about a cheese strats to have fun in some games. So i came to this idea of mass catapults as fast as possible the opponent main.
So i was waiting for a quite large map, with any opponents and here i go against a human called "ipownedyou" which was more funny ^^

Ok, some of you wanted to see how undead can tower rush orc on echo isles. Since PhilBot's rep is from previous patch it won't work. Today I got tired of orcs owning me and went for it (my first try with this strat so it was quite slow). I didn't remember the build exactly (like when and why should you sell TP etc.) but it's more or less what he did.

Reminds me of a game where Grubby ATs with a friend and both of them go dual NE, warden only, with mass moonwells. Just shadowstriking heroes, staff of teleport back to base to heal and blink to move around. Haha, funny rep.

His nick was Micro_Pimp (:D) and he tried to tower rush me on echo isles with potm + hunts + glaives. It could be quite dangerous if not his complete lack of skill or manner. Anyway I'll post a link to rep here because I think it was quite funny and some of you probably will enjoy reading his comments after I repelled his TR (and he said a lot).

Some guys in Poland raped people in 2on2 games by playing hu/ne and tp'ing militia to the ToL, it was awesome, early in the game enemy had to fight: dh, mk, some footies and arches, ToL, ~20 militia and when militia was over they started towering ^_^ Ownage.

Ok, I've just tried something really hardcore in Undead mirror and I really hope people won't play like that (but I guess sooner or later they'll all start to do so since this strat owns very hard).
It's all about getting to t2 fast, placing 2 temples, getting couple of necros and going for the enemy base with them. You would never believe how many skellies 4-5 necros can pump out of enemy graveyard
This strat is really amazing, there are only 2 ways to stop it:
1. Do the same strat but harass better so you come first to enemy base.
2. Get t3, destroyer upgrade and ~3 destros BEFORE your enemy gets to t3 (very unlikely)
Ultimate mirror hardcore.
This is only the example, I think this strat can be pulled a lot faster without even teching to t3 and upgrading necros (but I thought that more mana = more skellies = more ownage).

This strat was hot for a while in WC3 vanilla untill people started to stock dispelwant vs this. Early t2 was popular also because of the innate basedefence you get. Now those wants are gone and the antimagicunits replaced them. Anticaster being t3 in undead makes it viable again I guess.
