I would love to see more games using that sort of blend — the style/technology has existed for the longest time (originally games like Alone in the Dark and later Resident Evil — although those were done in ways that weren't modular, so overall still different), but I never saw many games that used it to a degree where the graphics looks REALLY great but also remain modular. The two that I mentioned earlier are the only two I can think of right now. | ||

Having a series where, for the most part, you don't have to say 'it's great just ignore X' is a nicer thing than saying 'it's great until X, now it sucks'. I'd rather see the same attempt at a game made with a new name entirely. | ||
