Replacement refs are awful ugh, that niners game and the end of Seattle/Arizona was pretty awful. Yeah there were some pretty huge facepalm moments in both of those games as a result of the refs trying to get things figured out. I really hope they get better because I don't really see the replacements' poor performance pushing the NFL to ends its lockout any faster. We're stuck with these referees for the duration of the season I'd bet.

I'm 11 points up and I have Gates and Ronnie Brown vs. Flacco and Jacob Tamme. I'm wondering if I should replace Brown with Torrey Smith, just in case if Flacco blows up, Torrey Smith will most likely blow up with him so I'd have nothing to fear. But Brown will be starting for the Chargers in place of Mathews so I don't know.
ahhhhhhh.

ahhhhhhh. I'm a pretty big Torrey Smith fan at the moment. I have him in both my leagues. I expect big things from Smith and Flacco this season but you're right, it would be pretty tough to sit Ronnie Brown because he's starting...
Edit: also, lol at the "ahhhhh." there is nothing worse than anguish from fantasy football indecision. Whenever I have an "ahhh" moment I feel like I make the wrong decision 80% of the time DX

Seahawks lose to Arizona. A disappointing way to start to the season, but hopefully Russell Wilson will take some big growth out of his first game.

I would say the reffing favored the packers more than the niners, but either way it put a stain on an excellent game. Either way go niners, looked sharp today

Wow. Great drive from Manning. That must have been 9 or 10 consecutive no huddle plays.

Denver fans must be excited by this upgrade, this team looks so good, Manning especially.
Poor decision by the Colts to let him go.

Really nice win for the Broncos! Initially, I didn't have high expectations for them, but let's see how far they can go.

Nah, it was the right decision. They couldn't afford both him and Luck, and rather than risking it with Manning it's better for them to just focus on the future.

Manning looking great. Really happy and excited for him and the team even though I am a Raider Fan.

Denver defense looked pretty nice today.
Wish I had put Moss in.. I drafted him as a semi-joke in the 15th round but decided to put Manningham in this week instead. :l

Welcome back Peyton, happy 400th.

Nice to see that Manning have not forgotten how to play Will be fun to follow Denver..

Good stuff, Manning. If only you didn't toss it to Tamme, sigh...
So I'm basically tied with my opponent with Gates and Ronnie Brown vs. Flacco. Do I sub Ronnie Brown out for Torrey Smith? Does it not matter? gsdhgdskjghske

Does it not matter? gsdhgdskjghske Tamme was a nice late round obvious potential upside TE pick. Paid off for me tonight. If you think Flacco is going to go big and are worried about that, go with Smith at least you can collect part of the points. While the opponent mumbles swear words under his breathe. Up to you really, last year Smith was big or very little against Cin. Hard to do the WR>RB in a flex spot though, even if it is someone filling in.

Im excited to see the Broncos play this season, we've got our first real QB since Elway... time for the Broncos to finally tear it up and make a mark!

As a life long Broncos fan let's call me cautiously optimistic after that win. Manning was as advertised but the secondary left me a little concerned.
Do you think the Broncos/Fans miss Tebow?

Nope!

Was anyone as high on Ridley before the season like me? He killed it in both my money leagues. Already won one with Gates/AJ green to go and down 2 with Torrey Smith in the other.
And as far as the refs go, yeah they're pretty bad.
