Seeing Tebow curse revenge on Denver was awesome!
He got carried by his defense and good running game and got lucky that a few teams choked in the fourth quarter against them. One thing I will give you though, is that another reason they were able to hang in all those games was because Tebow is great at not turning the ball over.
But if you can get Peyton Manning, I don't see any reason why you'd rather keep Tim Tebow.

Not to mention the Steelers team Tim Tebow beat to get to the second round resembled a MASH unit more than a football team...

actually scratch this post, I agree about Tebow lol.

Well iirc tebow came into the league on to a team that was like 1-4 or something and turned that into 8-8 by the end of the year he wasn't the starter coming out of the season it was Kyle Orton I believe. But yeah tebow football is not pretty but it got them there, so I mean he can't be that bad because not any quality of qb could be there but yeah there was a good team surrounding him.
What's weird about tebow is that he was a 1st round pick and the 2nd qb to be picked in the 2010 draft yet he can't seem to impress people during off season to earn a full time qb position.

So many people reference this but don't look at the game state. Kyle Orton was QBing a much more aggressive, vertical passing attack offense. He wasn't playing ball control offense, had turnovers, and the defense didn't get to be in a ball control slugfest like they did with Tebow.
Imo anyone who claims Tebow helped them to the 8-8 wasn't paying enough attention. In my estimation it's more that he didn't lose them games, and Willis McGahee, that O-line and their defense won them games. Tebow's biggest plays were often defensive breakdowns (vJets QB scramble) or that one playoff TD vs Pittsburgh (awful secondary play, DT turns a slant into a TD). Tebow doesn't win you games, and when you're in the playoffs against a Manning or a Brady your QB will need to carry the load.

Rex Grossman is available, in case you wanted a quality QB.

Ofc i wasn't paying attention ie watching them play why would i watch denver or the jets, just staying out of what results not losing you games seemed good enough something apparently kyle orton couldn't do, which is why i said any quality of qb, didn't say tebow is good just said he apparently was better for the team then kyle orton. Haha but apparently not losing you games wasn't it for the jets because they kept shitchez in forever, only reason i know that is from when you play that bad it gets written up in articles.

WOW, Jacquizz Rodgers just trucked that guy.
|
This is gonna be a blowout
|
Why would you go for it there?
|
haha jesus, what a fucking retarded decision. 5:30 in the second quarter, down by 13, 4th and 1, easy FG... GO FOR IT
|
I liked the aggressive call. I'm surprised at how well Atlanta is playing against the run.
|
Not a very good time to go for it
And if you ARE going to make that call, use Lynch ffs!
|
Normally I would agree with going for it too xDaunt, but when you're down 13 and have nothing, the confidence gained by getting points on the board finally outweighs the potential gain of confidence of converting, when you consider the risk involved.
|
Looks like a blowout now

well i think seattle always start slow... hopefully they can make it at least interesting later.
