It's good we have a team so expendable at the moment, as the Jags are. Florida obviously does not need 3 NFL teams, Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay. Obviously, Jacksonville is the least profitable, and there is certainly better markets for an NFL team. The only question is do they move to L.A., or all the way across the ocean, to England? Should be fun, either way. Hope it happens soon, maybe within a couple years.

Please don't move a team to England. Remember once when someone posted an article about how east coast teams always perform poorly when traveling to play west coast teams? The England team would have to travel a much greater distance, 8 times a year. Not really fair.

I'd rather see them go to Toronto than England, where you're pretty much never getting US fans making the trip to watch (people road trip for road games 8 times a year, no casual fans are paying to fly overseas 8 times)
The Bills aren't really a big pull in Toronto, and the tickets are way overpriced because it's the one game we get a year. There's a huge market here that is really being squandered by the outrageous cost of Bills tickets.

So I put some money on Giants vs. Bengals (Giants -4) and Broncos vs. Panthers (Broncos -4 1/2).
I feel pretty confident. Unless the NFL Gods pull something crazy I don't feel like I'll do worse than break even.
|
I think I'll also put money on the Broncos.
I wouldnt feel that confident about the Giants right now. They are in one of their funks and historically have been bad in November. Then again i hate betting on the Giants period. They could easily smash the bengals just as much as lay one of their turds (before undoubtedly raping everyone to win the super bowl).
Colts -3 vs the Jags on Thursday was one of the most confident bets I've ever made. I was shocked to see the spread so close.
Steelers -12 vs the chiefs seem big, but goddamn that is such an abysmal team. I wonder if they can go the entire season without leading a game for ONE second.

Someone in my league has the Bears D and Doug Martin. He beat his opponent with those two alone.

Anyone putting money on the saints/falcons game?

Well, now you're making me nervous about the Giants. I hope you're wrong and they come up big.

I'm going to be at the Giants game today, so here's hoping to a good performance!

Should I play Carson Palmer vs BAL or Tony Romo vs PHI this week? I am thinking of starting Palmer..

Looks like the Dolphins are back to losing

If the Saints can keep scoring points like that and their defense can slow down the Falcons by destroying their running game, then maybe they can win.

Laughing pretty hard at everyone who put money on the Giants today.

Anyone else watching the Bill-Pats game? Super tense
EDIT: Aaaand interception in the end zone. Wow, they had three shots and he throws a pass to three NE defenders? I guess that's one way to completely fuck up.

God the Patriots always try and throw their won games. Seems like these games this year have all been either extremely tense in the last 4 minutes or complete blowouts.
I absolutely love that he just went down after that interception. So many times you see players try and return it when just taking the knee would be the win.
