I meant O-Line, I said that at a time when their D-Line hadn't even been on the field yet.
Sidenote: watching the Saints defense physically pains me.

The Saints defense is truly hard to watch. Leave it to the Eagles to not score from the 5 though...

Considering this game is tackling optional, the Eagles probably should not bother with a passing game. Vick seems to fumble a little less on designed runs.
Eagles defense seems to be as bad as the Saints' tonight.

If you allow the Saints to get a run game going then you lose.

So far, I'm thankful that I didn't buy into the Eagles' WRs will do amazing against NO defense hype and benched Maclin. I started Colston instead, and so far so good.
|
Hahaha Cooper lying down in the endzone...
If only that play worked.

that was awesome if it weren't for the passer sucking

That was kind of cute, but, looks like yet another play that Philly didn't practice much with

I guess the worst part about this game is all they do is talk about "bounty-gate" between every play. You thought the horse was fully beaten to its death? This is ESPN: we must beat the horse until it is undead.

Yeah, I was up by 15 points with only Jackson left to play for my opponent... not too happy about it

Another abysmal Eagles performance. 10 of their 13 points off a totally blown coverage 80 yard TD and a field goal off the saints fumbling on their 15. Then again I guess it's hard to do much when your O-line is so SO bad.
Broken record time:
When will they just blow the team up and finally rebuild? I know they got oh so close over the past decade, but it's time to just let go. There's a thick haze of expectations and history choking this team that they need to get rid of. I don't see how the Eagles could ever even believe in themselves enough to ever really achieve their goals with the current regime. So many years of fucking up the same ways with the same people...

Sounds like when the Saints won the super bowl.
Do you know how great it would be to the city of New Orleans if the Saints won the super bowl? It'd really help them recover from the devastation of hurricane Katrina.

Just like I remember how Super Bowl XL (or whatever) really helped the city of Detroit during the economic devastation of the recession on the auto industry.

I need some help setting my lineup this week. Since I lost Darren Sproles last week I picked up Isaac Redman last week and was able to get Marcel Reece and Mike Goodson this week. I think I have a decent team of WRs, but I'd still rather start 3 RBs than 3 WRs.
Here's my roster: Starting: QB: Alex Smith RB: Jamaal Charles RB: Isaac Redman WR: Miles Austin WR: Andre Johnson TE: Brandon Myers FLEX: Brian Hartline LB: Jerod Mayo D/ST: 49ers K: David Akers
Bench: QB: Robert Griffin III RB: Steven Jackson RB: Daryl Richardson RB: Marcel Reece RB: Mike Goodson WR: Steve Smith WR: Torrey Smith IR: Darren Sproles
Sproles being out, Jackson splitting carries (and being against the 49ers) and all the uncertainty with the Raiders and Steelers RBs has me on the fence about what to do for RBs this week.
|
Yeah those all those RBs are iffy.
It seems like Dwyer will play this week, and maybe even mendenhall, so I'd cross Redman off the list if that's the case. The Steelers RB situation is the most crowded I've ever seen, fantasy or otherwise.
Marcel Reece is the interesting one. I picked him up too. With DMC and Goodson probably out who knows how the Raiders will use their pass catching fullback (wut). If it looks like he's going to play a decent part in the Raiders offense this week I think I like him as a flex or low end RB2. Maybe...

The Jaguars just make me sad, and I'm not a fan or anything. Between their play, the dismal attendance and the constant relocation talk, its just a depressing franchise. (Sorry any Jag fans!)

Hmm this team is quite negative-good.
