Pass ball, take your positions at the perimeter, stay there till your PG loses his dribble and turns it over because he has no one to pass it to. Fortunately for them Dunleavy isnt throwing it down either. So shit offesnsively its depressing.
Their only playmaker today is the baron, and Melo to a lesser extent as he can iso well. Fine with me though, just shows how legit Lin is.
Edit: Smith 1-10 for 3s, he's ice cold again.
Doesnt matter, playmaker is useless if the movement of the ball is absolute trash. Lin wouldnt do to much better (hed be better just not much ) and people would get to whine how much he turns the ball over. They got bailed out with the Bucks offense being really trash and some good D on their own part. Melo playing ISO is just not going to fly even if it is working. Sure in games where your opponent plays trash low percentage iso play will carry you once in a while but the lack of imagination on the offense is depressing, even if it is Woodson.
Not every team is going to send Melo to the line like that.

Yea, he also said that Russel would dominate in today's NBA.
Needless to say, Chris Anderson would destroy him.
I wouldn't go that far, but Russel would definitely have a difficult time in today's NBA. It's the same argument on whether the 92 Dream Team would destroy the 2008 or 2012 team(s): The 2008/12 teams presents just as many match up problems for the Dream Team than they do in reverse. Michael Jordan having to guard Kobe is already going to be tougher than most people realize - but then he has to also guard Wade. Same thing with Magic Johnson having to guard Rose/Paul or Larry Bird having to even fathom guarding Lebron, Melo or Durant.
Are we assuming everyone is on a physical level and we're just comparing basketball skills?

lololol
this isn't really accurate, in that bird was basically done by this point, and pippin was the real small forward of the team. It's hard to say if he could stick with those 3, but if anyone in history could match up it'd be him

Everyone at their respective points in 92. Magic, but more so Bird (his back) aren't going to be able to match up defensively due to injuries and ability, even though offensively they would still be a nightmare in some aspects.

Yea Pippen was a beast. Still, everyone on both teams is going to have major issues defensively.
which rules would they be playing by? Rules in 92 or rules in 2008? Rules in 92, the 92 team wins easy. Wade/LeBron/Kobe and crew, as great as they are, they have no idea how to deal with the pressure that would be put on the ball each time they got it.

it doesn't matter what rules they play.
thats just not true. guys today complain if the defender breathes on them to heavily. with how jordan and pippen would get into wade and lebron's face on defense, the 08 team would be greatly affected.
Mostly 98 Michael vs Kobe. I feel the Wizards Jordan is more comparable to this year's Kobe, these 98 Jordan clips don't make him out to be a great long jump shooter, but he can still blow by 19 year old Kobe.

no Shaq because he was too young, no Isaiah because Jordan said so
In the same vein of discussion, does anyone here honestly think the top tier college teams (Kentucky) even have a shot of beating the worst NBA teams? (Bobcats)
bobcats would demolish them 4-0.. but that is a difference in size and ability, its not such a stark contrast in this conversation as the 92 team has nba size and ability, the large contrast would come in with the fact that 20 years have contributed a lot to basketball knowledge overall, and the new age players would havr that advantage.
I don't think the top players of 92 vs the top players of today would be as large of a blowout as any ncaa team vs an nba team.
