And yeah, I said it was 113-115 LOL. The scorecard IS ALWAYS less variant than fans, commentators, and for fucks sake, forum posters think. But I think it should have been split decision 115-113, 113-115, 113-115 on JMM's favor and at worst, 114-114 on one of those cards and therefore a draw. But people who said 117-111, that never happens. But to people who said 120-108 you truly don't know shit about boxing, since you ride your scorecards off momentum which never happens. Pacquiao clearly won 3 rounds JMM clearly won 4 rounds, and 2 rounds were slightly his favor 3 rounds were really either way. You'd think it would go 115-113 for the most part, with rounds that way, but that just means that almost all the split rounds would have go to Pacquiao to go 116-112 on the one card, 115-113 to Pacquiao would have to be only slightly less so, and 114-114 was the only more reasonable one. | ||

You can't win a fight when your opponent hits you with a right cross every 15 seconds every round and your power hand sealed... Marquez put on a clinic that fight, and Mayweather will even be a better counter puncher then Marquez is today when it comes time for them to fight. | ||

116-112 is pretty fucking insane. I would only score that 116-112 like, one out of 15 times I score this fight. 115-113 i'd score that maybe one in every 6 times. 114-114? Maybe 1 out of 4 times But for it to be two cards in favor of pacquiao and one tie? I'm pretty shocked its not one on each side and one split, if not two to Marquez 1 split/pac | ||

This same thing happened, except much worse, in Pacquiao vs JMM 1 If anyone saw that, The scorecard that ended up going to Marquez by one point was misscored (the judge even later said it theirselves admitted it themselves), that they gave the score 10-8 in the first round but with 3 knockdowns the score was supposed to be 10-7. That extra point cost Pacquiao the fight, and turned it into a Draw when it should have been a guaranteed win for Pacquiao. | ||

Only thing I can think is that, while he put on a defensive clinic, Marquez didn't "look" like he was aggressive enough. Pacquiao was chasing him around all fight. Judges seem to think that's pretty critical. Personally, I think it was a bad decision. Was a great fight though, very entertaining! | ||

One controversial ending shouldn't strip you off the title... Floyd needs to fight more in order to reclaim it. If his next fight in May 5th happens against a nottable opponent, and he wins, hes p4p then. | ||
