Do you know if they are drops on the old raid too ? (except for the AQ thing. I can't seems to drop the red one). Or pets ?
I had pets in Karazan, MC, BWL, AQ40 etc... What addon do you use to track those things ?

Atlas Loot or even the dungeon journal should tell you what loot drops in each dungeon/raid.
Dungeon journal is on your bars and it tells you what the boss drops if you click it.
Atlas Loot is an addon which shows you all the loot per boss in every single encounter in the game.
Those are the only mount drops i know of personally xD might be more but i dont know im affraid

Oh ok ! i'm going to get this. I have "collector" and "rarity" but that's not really practical to use. It does tell you that the guy you kill can drop a mount or pet but if it's a random mob and you don't kill it it doesn't tell you.
So 'im going to go with your addon. (but i'm at work atm).
Oh and i have another question, i skimmed through my "achievements" and did they remove the achivement where you have to kill "rare mobs" 'cause i can't find it

I don't think there was any rare mob achievement. Certain mobs do give an achievement, but not all rare mobs. Some pandaria rares will give you an achievement.
NPC Scan, is an addon which tracks every rare in its database (which is 90% in the game) and even shows there paths on the world map. That could be useful if your looking to farm certain rares.

Like others already said the gear difference is there. However now more than ever what stats your gear has is more meaningful. If you see arms warrior running in full haste mastery gear he's not gonna ditch out as much as damage as someone who has full crit. Stat budgets and itemization today is at level which did not exist in vanilla and tbc. Good example of this is the very first tiers for some classes and their wacky stats/set bonuses, the devs were not really sure what they were going for either back then. Reforging, balancing stats depending on your spec/class, minmaxing like this didn't exist before and I know it put off the game for some.

Has blizzard done anything harder or on par with m'uru / kil'jaeden / Yogg 0 / Heroic LK ? Decided to watch some videos of the recent content(quit before cata) and nothing seemed too complicated compared to the brutally unforgiving nature of those four before they got nerfed TO THE GROUND, but I'll admit without knowing the dps requirements relative to ilvl this could be a really dumb statement.
edit: or any other strange raid mechanics such as Algalon's 1 hour timer?

There is some interesting bosses in SoO and also some heoric modes are huge gear checks.
Garrosh is not a hard fight though for a lass boss of an expansion. Yes it took a while for the big guilds to kill it, but if you ask anyone in the guild if it was a hard fight they will tell you know it isn't. It is that "easy" to say that it requires only 4 healers on 25man mode and 1 healer on 10man hc mode. So that sums up that fight.
Is some good bosses that require bit of skill and such.

Those 3 imo are good fights with nice skill levels.

I was sure there was some. I don't use NPC scan because it fails to work. SilverDragon works fine though

TBC was so different game than what it is now, LK had limited attemps. Ragnaros took over 500 pull from Paragon who killed it first before anyone else in few weeks. They killed Garrosh few days ago and that required 638 pulls and they had to one to heal it, Method killed it in +200 something in 25man. Raiding is more complex(and better) than ever, most bosses are the pretty much the same in 25 or 10man but every now and then we get bosses which are much more harder or easier depending which one you're doing.
Every tier has it's the definite harder ones, from the current one example Blackfuse(kinda like new Mimiron) and Paragons of the Klaxxi stand out easily.

Thats a shame, NPC scan is by far the best one for Rare tracking. You fly aimlessly around in the air and it will tell if you if you have flown over it. With a new addon to that which i think they have merged now, it pops up as a picture of what the mob looks like and u can click that picture and it brings up the nameplate and makes it easier to find.

All rare elites are now marked on the mini map with a skull, so now when you're near one you can easily see from there. In fact for average/slow PC the skull on the minimap will actually appear before the npc is registered in your creature cache file making tracking addons obsolete for most part.

Was easy raid damage......200k ticks off Desecration is like the only oh shit to worry about, but again if you fail at moving from it you deserve to die. Is what method guys said. Thus there isn't much raid damage taken and is easily healed. Phase 4 looks the only hard part in the fight imo.
I believe the skulls only come up in Timeless isle no? If not i have never noticed it before i went to that island

The skulls appear for all Mists of Pandaria rare elites now, not just Timeless Isle. I haven't run across any in older content so they MIGHT also appear for ALL rares, but I haven't bumped into one.

Razorgore (first boss in BWL) is very soloable, you just have to practice controlling him and destroying all the eggs in 2 cycles. Even at level 86 I doubt your character will die from being beat on by all those mobs. But if he does, then you'll be able to do it at lvl 90 no problem. Is tricky the first few times, but not impossible.
Karazhan: To solo Netherspite what you can do is wait until he's way in the back of his room behind that large machine or whatever. Then pull him and tank him with YOUR back to the rest of the room, so that all 3 portal beams hit YOU. Then just burn him down before weird/bad things start to happen.
The bosses you listed in AQ 40 are all possible but involve slight DPS checks (Twins, Bugs, etc). You should be able to handle at 90.
Onyxia is pretty easy at 90 as well.
I'm a big fan of solo'ing old content. I've done less on my ele shaman, but I've still done Naxx10 and BT which have bosses which are nice checks, so I think it's a very capable class. Enhance is pretty good too I hear, so you can always try that as well. For Ele I found it easy to just dps like normal and whenever I felt like I needed healing during a fight, rather than spam healing surge just to save myself, use it on Clearcasting procs. This boosts the amount it heals and also doesn't completely waste your mana pool (which happened a lot when I started using it only in emergencies).

No skull icon on the map is "boss quests" silver elite are not displayed on the minimap. I farmed them yesterday and there is no such thing
As for the spec i'm a healer. I play elem because it's transforming a 50minute fight in a 10minute one for each boss But i prefer playing healing. Also i think i'm going to try MC in heal mode to see if it's possible. But for exemple for the weird bug with a lot of lefgs in AQ 40, without the AOE damage i don't think you can kill him (because all of the bugs that spawned are killed by your earthquake).

The problem for BWL is not that I DIE. It's because the boss is killed by all the mobs.
I don't think it's possible for the princess in AQ40. She "fear" every 20 seconds (9sec fear) and she full heal herselef (and other) if you don't break her heal. Which is not possible if your are "feared". So you would have to kill her in 11seconds ? Well i don't know how powerfull you can be at level 90 but i doubt that. Did you try it ? How did you do it ?
Because there is the random stun for 3seconds that the king does and the occasionally bumps. So i really fail how it can be different at 90. For the twins i don't know. I faced them 1time in my life so i don't really remember how it is.

But keep in mind that i'm not a hardcore player. I'm doing those raids because i have NEVER DONE them before. Because i did not have the stuff (and the guilde). The only instance that i did back them was AQ20 but i was SO MAD to leader that yells at you for not knowing the instance by heart that i quit. I mean..... It's a game. People are not explaining strat. You can't get in because you don't have the stuff but you need to get in to have the stuff... And you have to know all the strat without anyone explaining it you...
So... I have never done them. I was so happy when i saw Ragnaros for the first time this we I have kept all the purple loot. Because i'm so happy i have them now I know they are useless... But i was happy

Ah yeah, doing fights AS resto would be hard if there's any sort of dps check. I heal primarily on my shaman too, but for solo'ing and questing I have elemental dual-spec. I'm not sure how much you'll be able to do as pure resto, but elemental should work (same gear and all too). I haven't done the Bug trio on my shaman, but I've done AQ40 on multiple other toons (casters and melee) and don't remember too much trouble. You would be surprised at the burst dps when you get to 90.
Also shamans have (in my opinion) some of the best looking tier sets in the game since forever, so it's worth doing like, everything.

Oh so it's that big of a difference ? Well when i think about it. Level 85 OS a level 80 character with FULL LK sets so... yeah maybe i need to grind for equipement and 90
Is there something as vanity set in wow now ? Like i have a gear but i make it look like one of the old one ?
When i was 85 i could do some of the MC alone but only on heal spec. elem was too hard (but long). But i tried it anyway because in resto it's soooo long to kill a mob

Yeah there is "Transmog" where you go to vendor in a capital city, next to the reforge/void storage/valor upgrade vendor and you can pay gold to make good gear (stats wise) look like older gear you have collected.
