Turn wood into charcoal, turn some into planks as fuel and put then rest in the furnace. iirc you'll need 44 planks as fuel for each 64 stack of wood. You have to wait a bit but it's renewable!
.. or use the Logs as the fuel enough for 1 charcoal, then use that charcoal as a much more efficient fuel source.

Ganked now has 2 bases. If anyone is interested in purchasing a base with fully automated farm, chest room, which is also surrounded by mountains please let me know here

Alright, I think it's time for me to leave the server. Nothing really left for me here, but rounds 1 and 2 were pretty alright.

Did you post that actually thinking that anyone would care?

Is there any point to you posting that comment, it just makes you come across as bad mannered.

No point in being dramatic, this isn't a carebear server. Eventually everyone will learn the concept of victory and loss. If you make the decision after losing that it's not worth it to aim for revenge, simply bow out respectfully.
Some people laugh and have a good time handling defeat, others act like this is anything but Minecraft and get all emo. At that point when nobody cares, they start placing their blame on the server.
I experience this 5 times a day. It ALWAYS happens right after someone is conquered, and of course never when your the one attacking. Every single time.
Lol.

Yep. People dont understand that their minecraft pixels are easily reattainable. We need more people who have the mindset of the members of Ganked.

Lol. Not trying to be, I'm not sure why you think so. I'm just kind of bored at this point, and it isn't as fun as it used to be for me.

I'm sorry I was making a generalized commentary on what I deal with daily as server admin. Where did I mention his name? Or did you make the assumption?

Is it just me or do you guys think the terrain is way overdone. At some points it honestly feels slower moving then the old server because the terrain makes it impossible to go anywhere with out climbing mountains. Not saying the occasional huge, to the skybox, mountain is bad but having them everywhere just gets incredibly tiring if you travel a lot.

If I had to choose between this and the old flat terrain, I'd choose this anyday. I think everyone is adjusting just fine, and it makes thing interesting.
Food for thought: There are 4 times as many player->player deaths per day this round than any previous round. So something is being done right.

I want to see the stats on how many people die to chickens.

Not as many as those who have fallen off cliffs.

I'm honestly surprised at that considering how bad it is for you die. Most factions can only afford 1 death per person before they start to lose power below their claimed land. I still think there's too slow of a regeneration of power. Or the other way around, too much power lost when dieing, but one should be changed.

With no risks the game becomes boring like in round 2. You should be looking at it with more of a "we only need to kill 2 of them to claim their land".
