How's my bhopping, it's still not ideal but I can do that roughly every 4-6 rounds, my aim is still bad but I always played games with movement based skill before aim.
How you do that? And one more question, is this something pros use regularly or something? I noticed yesterday JW did it while jumping up for something and it became really quick.
You do it by jumping just before you hit the ground and strafing. So you run normally then let go of w after you jump and move the mouse in sync to the a or d key (the same direction) then you want to hit jump before you land still not pressing w and use the opposite key to what you used before, you can do same key bhops but it's harder, find the launders video or some other person on youtube just type bhop guide csgo. Pros use it but not super often, it's inconsistent and makes you not able to aim at points on entry (since you have to move the mouse in sync) it's hard to do and not consistent so only short distance hopping is fine. I just learnt it because movement is my favorite aspect of most games. also bind jump to up and down on the scroll wheel.
Alright thanks. I like movement to btw, quake comes to my mind.

Never thought about this, will give it a shot. Space isnt the best jump button tbh.

Working on my bhopping as well, it's FREAKING hard. But fun.
So true, I think the most I've chained together is 7 I got some crazy jump going on dust 2, where I skipped through mid double doors and into tunnel then failing to kill anyone as they saw me coming
There is a speed limit in GO that prevents you from Bhopping as you could have in 1.6 as far as I know, so you need to have the exact right amount of strafing to chain a decent amount of them. As far as I'm concerned I just try to be decent enough at doing one or two jumps after switching to my main weapon from a knife to peek an angle
kinda salt because I was going to put NiP as my pickem, but I had sleep/work and so I knew I wouldnt be able to change my pick. welp. need to get my finals pick right to get the golden dorito.

Speed limit is 300 velocity type cl_showpos 1 into command to see your speed, but it only slows you down to 280 and running is 250 so if you always hit the hop it's still faster than walking it's just hard to get super speed, I think the fastest you can get is bhopping off silo and then strafing or something you can hit like 320-340.
Can anyone tell me how to find your speed in a demo? I tried the normal command but it doesn't display it right.
I used to play call of duty competitively (back when it was good, cod1,2,4). I'm in need of some good fps competitive action. I've never played CS, but CS:GO seems very popular and it's only $7.50 on Steam. I think i'll buy it.
If anyone knows, who different is it from old school cod? I don't know any of the mechanics, like "buying" guns in game and stuff. Just curious

Well, I can't speak too well to the old school CoD having not played much of it, but I know some things about CS:GO that throw off people from other shooters:
Running or jumping makes your bullets go wildly off-course and there's a sliding effect before you stop moving, so to hit shots you usually have to be standing still
You can't aim down ironsights
Grenades only do max about 70% health, and that's if they land right on top of them
Spray patterns for specific guns can be memorized, meaning you can send ten bullets into roughly the same spot if you know how far off-center to move your crosshair
Body shots deal about 20-30% damage from rifles, 100% only with an AWP or close-range shotty; headshots deal 80-100%
Without armor, your aim gets "punched" every time you get hit by something, so any round you think you have a chance at winning, buy armor (every once in a while people will do a glass cannon buy and get a rifle without armor, but it's usually not a good idea) (also pistol round is often an exception since you can't afford both armor and something else)
If you can't afford to buy armor and a decent weapon, you save your money for the next round, accepting the fact that the current round is probably lost
Crosshair positioning is extremely important since headshots are so much more valuable than body shots but are hard to land if you aren't already aiming at the exact spot, and spinning around even 90 degrees because you get caught looking the wrong way is usually a loss for you, if the other person's crosshair was on point
Ahah nice to see that the blatant spinbotter and his friend I encountered yesterday are both banned by the latest banwave. Apparently most majors cheat providers are detected right now. Time to play guys.
Argh several hackers in my last couple of games (one of them on my time as well) have survived the ban wave. Great... The smurfing/hacking is rampant even at Gold Nova Master to Master Guardian range at the moment.
Usually when I encounter some suspicious activity when playing against people I give them the benefit of the doubt. One recent game was not the case. Finding me every time I was saving a gun was a little too much. When I watched the replay I can see him clearly walling. Hopefully he gets banned since I already reported him during the game. Sucks that this is happening even in MG2
Happened to me a couple weeks ago only the hacker was on my team. He kept telling me spot-on information about bombsites, so I looked at the replay and saw the same evidence. The frustrating thing is that these guys don't get banned unless VAC encounters the hacks, even though the evidence is clear for anyone to see.

Well i don't know if this really worked but last time i reported someone i reported him not via CS but via Steam. I did a steam report, for hacks and i put a VOD (i streamed the little chiter). I got a notification 2-5 days later from Valve saying they did something (i don't really remember the email) but couldn't disclose what. Checked the profile and the guy was banned. Of course i was not IG and did that via observing. And maybe it's just pure coincidence that the guy was banned after i did that (since he may have tons of reports already)
More time consuming but it could maybe be better to do that ? (the guy was walling like a madman through doors and wasn't even hidding it so it was quite damming evidence. You don't HS from round 1 to the last through smokes and doors by accident).

Could be that i had "luck" and it was just a coincidence. Try it and you'll see

Who won game 1? Or is this game 1?
Also what was that eco push VP seriously
On another note, this game is so frustrating when your ability to aim suddenly just leaves you. What are you even supposed to do when that happens? I can feel my mouse hand just not moving as well but I don't know what to do about it.
